Hello everyone,

Need some help.

when i am trying to go to the CIC website and pay my RPRF online, it is asking me to create a Login id(with my email id and password) and then it goes to the secured website where i am supposed to enter the credit card details.

My question is , how would the receipt specify that the fee is paid by whom and against which application number?
Am i going to the wrong link, am i missing something or is it the way?

can someone already paid it show a sample of the receipt?

Dear friends, please help on this. waiting...................

Future canadian has already answered your query regarding reference letter.

We have already seen several rejections this year due to absence of roles and responsibilities in the reference letter. So it would be a good idea to try hard to get that on a company letter head.
+1 for this and for your user name. I think you are the first 5125 applicant I've seen on the forum.

Hello Peeps ;D,

DD is always preferable

Rightly Said, DD is preferable....
But in case if you are using CC than please make sure your international transaction limit is sufficient enuf. As most of the banks have separate domestic and international LIMITS.....
All the best....

I am showing part of settlement funds as EPF from my previous employer.

when I download the passbook it gives me the statement till October 2013

I am not working in India since July 2013.

the website ask for some UAN Number to get the latest PF statement. I dont have this UAN Number as I havent got it from my previous employer. seems UAN has been recently introduced.

The website states

http://uanmembers.epfoservices.in/index.php

Dear EPF Members !!

• EPFO has launched an Universal Account Number (UAN) based Member Portal to provide a number of facilities to its members through a single window
• Activate your registration to avail various facilities such as UAN card download, member passbook, updation of KYC information etc.
• As of now, only active members (contribution received through ECR for the wage month October 2013 onwards) would be able to register themselves.
• For registration, obtain UAN from your employer alongwith your member ID.
• Your mobile number would be required to activate registration.

So how should I explain to CIC about these facts and convince them that it is a latest statement I am sending dated October '2013.

Please suggest

Hi Friends,

Today I got email from LVO asking to pay fees for the PR and submit PCC & Medical. Looks like LVO is processing very fast as the time duration between the processing start date and MR request date is 4 working days.

All the best to all my friends in this forum.. :) :) :) :) :)

You are definitely right but due to some i want to go with credit card payment

please suggest

Using an international bank CC would be preferable, like Citi. Do check your limit with the bank though, you may be good to go but being double sure wouldn't hurt.

You must come to Vancouver and I'll take you for a beer :)

:) Ok, will do, if ever I pass through.

Oscar7,

In my opinion we should encourage all the new applicants to go for DD only. There is no CC mode of payment exists any more. ??? :P

Cheers!

Very well said!!! + 1 on the suggestion!!!

Not sure why folks from India want to take chances with a CC knowing very well how quickly and suddenly RBI regulation / Bank mandate can screw their happiness and their hard work of several months! ???
