New Delhi visa office has not issued any PR's to 2013 applicants yet (based on 2013 spreadsheet), this means 2014 applicants for New Delhi have more than a year to wait for PR visa issuance. I thought processing time for new Delhi was like 8 months, guess that's not the case ::)
One of my friend is in canada
Fsw 2013 applicant

[size=9pt] Hi, Sorry to hear of these!!! Good luck with the test!!! I am sure you would be fine this time around! :)

I think overall it is still a high match of 70% or above. Just didn't notice these two items so I take it you don't do these ones, right?

•Assist in surgery and other medical procedures
•May supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff

Thanks Oscar7! I really appreciate the time. :-)

Yes, I did not do those 2. I guess my JD is good to go.

On an Average, applicants applied in May 2013 from NDVO got VISA issued in Feb 2014.
So, Average time for NDVO to complete full application from receiving date to issue VISA is 10 months, as per last year applications.
Hi Manish, please assist with the average processing time for Accra VO as per application received date to Visa issuing date for 2013.

Once the applicants are charged, CIC does not tell them at a later stage "oh, sorry, actually, the cap was reached, here is your money back." So, Cap update is based on CC/DD charge. But of course, just because you are charged does not mean you are going to get a PER; hence you may end up not counting toward the cap.

[size=9pt] Ms. Roy it seems you might be misinformed. When I was taking DD in April end I met a couple from FSW 2013 who were in the bank to move all funds to Canada and were catching a flight to Toronto in the first week of May 2014. :)

Several FSW 2013 folks from NDVO are in Canada. Rumors are rumors and should not be paid attention to. Please post a message in FSW 2013 forum to confirm this if you wish to. :)

Thanks for the insight, that's a relief to know :) +1

What makes you think that, for instance, the published figures of 198 and 197 for NOCs 1112 and 2174 are based on PERs and not DD/CDs charged once the applications are deemed to be complete as per the CIC website? What is your best guestimate as to when the caps for these two NOCs would be reached?

May I come in for 2 mints ;D

Cic site says, number of complete applications received ( not PER given )
And I guess they charge after making sure file is complete

Now pls continue :-*

I believe you have missed checking the Visas tab of the 2013 spreadsheet which has the required information. Typical timeline was 8-10 months with some of the late applicants getting visas issued in 6 months too.

+1 thanks, yes I did.

Hello Everyone,

I need your valuable suggestions for my problem. As some the forum members already given their valuable advise, once again I want to discuss this issue with you all especially with applicants under 2171 Noc and 2281 Noc code.

I am preparing my second application under 2281 NOC as I already sent an application under 2171 noc (which now I think it's wrong Noc according to my job profile) and my application reached there on 23rd June. This time I don't want to take any risk. I am quite worried about my second application because the job experience is same which I used in 2171 NOC, and now I am only changing previous NOC to 2281 NOC. The questions which are rolling in my mind are:

Is it ok to send another application under new NOC code with same work experience?

Is it ok to send new application without waiting for their reply/NER email?

What should I do to keep me and my family safe for this 2014 fsw program (wait or send ??)

Also, please give some comment/suggestions on my day to day job duties which are listed below:

1. Installed and supported applications on Windows, Fedora/Debian Linux servers.

2. Managed Windows network, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SQL, Fedora/Debian Linux, File sharing, Group policies, Print sharing and their interfaces for the systems.

3. Maintenance of the systems including latest antivirus updating involved in asset-tracking PC and security standards throughout the company.

4. Installation, configuration and administration on high end CISCO routers and switches.

5. Installation, configuration and administration of VPN's and Lease lines.

6. Installation of security patches and bug fixes.

7. Systems health checks for all security devices.

8. Having vast knowledge of spyware, content filtering, spam guard, POP blocker.

9. Handling of major security incidents and identifying the root causes.

10. Configuring Routing Protocols, ACL, NAT ( static and dynamic), PAT.

11. Maintaining and administering LAN network and it's interconnection with WAN.

Are these above job duties are perfect match of 2281 NOC ?

Or do I need to add or change something in it ?

Please help me friends, your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Waiting for your input guys.....

Ok, let me comment on the job duty of yours. It is clearly 2281. I am surprise why did you apply for 2171 earlier. Your list of duties looks well but there are some scope of improvement.

For example this two point below -
4. Installation, configuration and administration on high end CISCO routers and switches.

5. Installation, configuration and administration of VPN's and Lease lines.

Here your repeating same keyword repeatedly in two point. These should be in one complex sentence.

Also can you make the points a little more descriptive. And don't just say LAN, say it like Local Area Network(LAN), for some abbreviation(but not all) which might be uncommon to a non tech person.

Also add some extra point like you mange a team or work in a team environment.

Hope this helps.

[size=9pt] Good question!

We have seen periods when PER was barely issued in the forum for about 35 to 40 odd days while fees where being charged regularly. During those times updates on the websites corresponded to the scant PER issued numbers.

Likewise then came a time when deluge of PERs came along but relatively fewer charges, and the website #s again corresponded with the PER deluge.

Plus folks have been observing this trend from May 1st applications this year, and some observed this from even previous years. First I too was skeptical (because my logic was also towards fee charge), but my own inference lately confirms due to the earlier listed facts / correlations. :)

So, let's take the 198 figure for NOC1112. If based on PERs, it'd mean up to 7-8 May. I believe there are about 50 NOC1112 applicants thru' 7 May in the SS out of a total of 150. So, does the SS represent roughly 25% of the actual number of applications submitted (50 out of 198)? Can we conclude that it is unlikely that someone sending in an application now will be capped out (if 150 in the SS is 25% or even 16-17% of the worldwide applications)?

I have one point shortage to reach minimum 67 passing score. However, in next october'14 my job experience will be six years which help me to add more two points and thus exceed the passing score. However, can i apply immediately before starting the month of October. Or I have to wait upto the month of October to apply under FSW. Need urgent suggestion.

Hi Seniors, I was38 years 6 months and 18 days of age the day my application reached CIC. Will I get 8 points or 9 for age ?
