This means that if and when I get passport request, I will have to go back to India for stamping. I see that it can take months to get passport back from New Delhi visa office.

What's new development? At what stage you are? I am a May 29th application. Still along way to go.

hey 1st of all many many congrats to PER receivers ...!! m waiting for my turn...finger crossed...anyone have idea when can i receive it or when my DD can be charged? i m 15th MAY applicant...will it come to my INBOX directly or it may go to SPAM also???? aftr receiving it wht steps should be taken...m form INDIA.....

it wont be long now, 14th may applicants are currently getting charged, we should celebrate your good news by next week.

[size=9pt] Hi, Long time no see Chemical. Actually in your case your visa office might stay India since you have not been in US for 1 year at this time. I recall someone mentioning that this is what CIC CS had told them when they called at their number. Feel free to get more suggestions though...Good luck!

I heard New Delhi office is slow. Would it take like an year or so to get visa stamped after PER is issued, considering PCC and medicals are provided promptly?

New Delhi visa office has not issued any PR's to 2013 applicants yet (based on 2013 spreadsheet), this means 2014 applicants for New Delhi have more than a year to wait for PR visa issuance. I thought processing time for new Delhi was like 8 months, guess that's not the case :

Sorry for interuption but you do Not necessarily have to go to India for stamping. You request VO to change the stamping location to Nearest VO from the country you are living in.

We believe the cap page indicates PERs issued, which means up to 7th or possibly 8th May.

2281 is not that hot so you should be ok, but apply ASAP.

I disagree. The number of complete applications counted towards the 1,000 sub-cap indicates the number of applications checked for "completeness" and charged; not PERs issued which is the second stage of assessing against the FSW selection criteria. So, the CIC update should be up to around 13 May.

my application has returned on 12 aug stating : Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 12 Aug 2014. It was deemed incomplete due to a payment issue. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

plz explain dis... also my dd has 3 months validity which has expired on 12 aug.. plz guide me wot to do next.. applied under NOC 2132.. application sent date was 20th may..

Brother need to know what was explained in letter( although it is a payement issue).till den dont losse hope start preparing a new file and send it asap. Best of luck

I wrote in after validating, it was fine. I agree that this should be minimized and only done for very good reason. Fax number can be left blank.

But then these modifications will not be read by the Barcode scanner. Only if CIC manually reads the form will your changes be of use.

Date of Application : 9th May 2014.
CC charged date : 15th July 2014.
PER Mail : 14th August 2014.

I disagree with what you are saying. CAP update is based on PER not CC/DD Charge.

Once the applicants are charged, CIC does not tell them at a later stage "oh, sorry, actually, the cap was reached, here is your money back." So, Cap update is based on CC/DD charge. But of course, just because you are charged does not mean you are going to get a PER; hence you may end up not counting toward the cap.
