Thanks. That's a relief. Because It was so much difficult to get reference letter from that company with all important details. Salary slips would have been impossible to get after 10 years.

Salary Slips are optional . No problem.

And all those documents you mentioned are also not mandatory.

Only the reference letter properly written as per the Checklist criteria , and signed is mandatory.

Hi guys. Can somebody enlighten me about my query..
My application was received last June 6, 2014 and until now I did not received any mails from CIC.
So what I did, I asked the bank if the issued DD has been en-cashed by CIC. Unfortunately, its not.
Is this bad or nothing to worry about and need to wait?
Coz from the previous forum most of CC/DD has been charged/encashed within a month or 2?

Dear all, I am told my PER arrived yesterday at my Canadian representative's e-mail; just learned today from my India immigration office. Good luck to all those who are waiting for fee charge, PER or whatever next stage they are at. Cheers!

So how much time will it take to clear their 2013 backlog and hw much time for us??\

Dear Ashif, Century, Kollins, Future_Canadian and all other lovable experts....

I'm in a desperate situation. Let me explain my problem, please help me to come out of this issue.

I'm planning to apply under the NOC 2172. I've prepared everything except my Wife's Passport.

In my wife's passport, the Place of birth was wrongly mentioned when compared with Birth certificate.

At that time, we were not ready with the documents like WES report, IELTS etc....

Hence, we have planned to change the passport and applied for the change on two months before (on June 2014).

So the passport was sealed as cancelled, and currently we are waiting for the new one.

Now the situation is, there is no stack of passport book in Indian government itself.

Almost it take two months from now, hence we inquired with the Regional Passport Office and they are saying some other bullshit reason which embarrassed us.

For this reason, I'm really worrying if i can apply in FSW 2014 or not.

Is there any other way to come out of this problem, like getting affidavit or some other thing....

Please help me BROs........

Take some time more. 2172 is the coolest NOC among IT NOCs. It will no way filled up by this month.

i afraid you have to wait till your application returned ....

You can call the courier service and ask them to return the package back without delivering and mention the reason as "you have missed a key document in the package". They will do it, but charge you and that shouldnt be a problem as you will be late just for 10-15 days..

That's really sad to know... would it be possible for you to post his StanChart letter ?

Subject to the views on his letter, he can consider appealing to CIC for re-considering their decision.

Applying again for NOC 1112 would be quite late 8)

Dear Folks,

One of my friend applied on NOC 1112. His application was received on 5th May,2014. His payment was charged as well.

But on 6th August cic sent a rejection email on his application instead of PER. He had full time permanent 8 years experience in two reputed banks.

1. 3 yrs in Citi Bank : This was his main profession In schedule 3 form and his latest experience and based on this work experience he applied in NOC 1112. He provided employment letter with full job description for this experience.

2. 5 yrs in Standard Chartered Bank: He did not apply under this experience but In schedule 3 form, He claimed this work experience under NOC 1212. He also provided employment letter for this work with job description. But the job description does not fully match with NOC 1212.He got only 11 points out of 15 points in work experience beacause CIC did not give any point for his work experience in Stanadard charted bank.

This way he failed to meet 67 points.

In his rejection letter as a reason cic mentioned as below:

"1.You were assigned 11 points for your 3 years of full-time work experience with CITI Bank Nov 2011– May 2014 NOC 1112, or the equivalent in part-time work, within the 10 years prior to the date your application was made in accordance with R 80 of IRPA.

2. No points were assigned for your work experience from Standard Chartered Bank (August 2006 – October 2011) because the employer letters contained insufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or a substantial number of the main duties of occupation 1212 – Supervisors, finance and insurance office workers, as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification, including all of the essential duties. Self declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable evidence of work experience. "

From the above explanation it is clear that CIC verified the job descriptions both of his experiences. Does it go with CIC rules? Moreover cic told that he will not get the refund and his file back. This is also something which seems a exception of their rule. Is not it?

So far we know that we have to have at least 1 yr of work experience in the NOC we are applying and he meets this rule.

What he can do now? He is really down with this rejection. Can he apply again? Or it will be rejected again if he applies?
