If I were you I would get the package back, since it is not yet delivered at CIC (even if it has left the country, as long as it is not yet delivered at CIC yet)

If you pay the courier service handsomely (which is done) they will do as you tell them to do, i.e. divert to another address or bring back the package

First, you did not add your name to the 5th page Consent & Declaration section of the Generic Application form. Probably didn't tick either too (though that's minor)

Then this now. But not sending the Document Checklist means CIC does not know what all sections apply to you and whether the contents of the package are complete or may be you missed sending 1 or 2 things in the package as well i.e. mandatory stuff for your case which could be different from any other case in general. Just a general thought there! Also, hopefully in another day or two you don't remember one or two more things that you did incorrectly. I would consider Document Checklist an important part of the application, and if CIC accepts your case without it then consider yourself very, very lucky! Good luck!

PS - Rather tossing and turning in your bed for the next 2-3 months I suggest getting your package back / delivered to a friend's address in Canada and get the shortcomings fixed.

If something happened for checklist, he got to be extremely unlucky. You can refer to page 4 of OP6 for the Form Require section. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf

Thanks for the clarification brother! :) For company wise responsibilities, what I did was just added a phrase "Please see attached Annexure A" written in the table under Main Duties and then added a copy of the reference letter for 1st job with a hand written note on top "Annexure A." Similarly for the 2nd, 3rd jobs as Annexure B, Annexure C respectively. I understand its a personal choice how one does, so either way works. Just with FROM and TO given for each row I though it would be good to put one line for each job experience, for clarity.

If I ask me how did I do, I showed experiences in three different NOCs and use only 3 different rows regardless of my designation. Using 1 row per NOC help me to write only the key functions among many responsibilities to match 80-100% with NOCs responsibilities- otherwise, the officer would get lost as there are some terms used in my reference letter that could only be understood by my industry people. It will also help to assess responsibilities, calculate tenure, and compare with four different reference letter.

If the responsibilities in four companies are very much different, then companywise should be written;

Hello Seniors,

I need a urgent help, I got reference letter from my existing company and previous company, I want to send it to CIC so that they will consider it with my application package which reached on 14th May 2014 under NOC 2174. I also have UCI number which I got last year.

I have 2 questions regarding this

Regarding Hard Copy: What should I write on envelop so that they recognize it and keep it with my application package.
Regarding Soft Copy: Is there any email on which I can send it so that they should include it with my application.

Please suggest.

Brother,

There is no specific instruction to send additional docs sending on CIC...

Although:

1. U can write ur UCI no. and address, that will be enough...Since u are going to send a cover letter for sure...:)

2. U can inform CIC by sending an email to the below ID:

CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca

Consider the ID without spaces

2012-03 to 2013-05 Studying======US=====Student====c*** university (transferred to F1)

Yup, both works.

But my suggestion/tips to current applicants, take the full opportunity of the form; job reference letter in most cases not found according to applicant's liking; the wording and sentences might not clear other than the industry people or sometime only for that organisation. So, this is the section where applicant can show easily what is his major responsibilities in few words by just using few key words. Grab the opportunity- show 80%-100% matching.

Status in the country should be Citizen/visitor/tourist/Tempory Resident and not Student or Dep spouse.

No supporting is required.

Even If the responsibilities in four companies are Not different (which I highly doubt as the only reason to switch job would be money then.. all the 4 times  which is also Not feasible unless you 'grow' ), still it should be written company wise. My understanding is that VO will assess your Work exp points for each jobs (same Occup.) based on Ref letters, supporting documents for that particular job. Unless he's satisfied with all the 4 Ref letter etc. he wont give you credit for all 4... so better not to club them.

Century, excellent idea. However, I used annexure and explained Industry/company specific jargons used in the experience letter. I reproduced the duties portion and then added "(i.e. .......)" where i thought further clarification is required for a layman to link the responsibility with NOC. Yes, i also added few more responsibilities to achieve max possible matching. In the end, its a personal choice and ur satisfaction level with experience letter.

Thanks Century !

So the format and the break down is okay then?

According to the list provided in instruction guide for 'Generic Application Form' Status in Country could be one of the following. So Student sounds good to me per this. I need to think for alternative for "Dep spouse"
Your immigration status in that country (indicate one of the following):
Citizen
Permanent resident
Visitor
Worker
Student
Other
Protected Person
Refugee Claimant
Foreign National
Other: This section must be completed if you selected "Other" as a status
