Yes.. 'Doc Checklist' Not a 'Form' ("CTQ") and hence missing it should Not be reason a for Rejection.

I remember my last year's package returned to me.. they had rearrange the sequence of Forms, supporting documents as per their "Relevance".. they had move the 'useless' (for their requirement) documents in the last.. and 'Document Checklist' was also moved in the last. Moreover it was untouched/unchecked.... no red/ tick marks etc like it is done in the Forms etc.

Net net i think the 'Document Checklist' is meant Applications to arrange their package in right direction... it is of no relevance for CIC.
I hope a favorable outcome of his Application as for the missing checklist. Final decision is the umpire's though 8)

If something happened for checklist, he got to be extremely unlucky. You can refer to page 4 of OP6 for the Form Require section. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf

I wrote Work Visa Holder / Work or Student Visa Holder / Student , as applicable for outside my country status. And I believe proof comes from (visa stamping on) copy of the passport / joining offer letter etc. Similarly can come from passport of spouse, if applicable. If they need any other supporting letter, they can ask for it later. Don't need to worry about any supporting document right now (other than copy of passport already provided). Cheers!

But I haven't work as an engineer since graduation,, and I've worked as a teacher instead? And in the noc they say under the employment requirements for the the childhood educator that a childhood education degree or diploma is required,,, so what do u think?

Can i include the amount in Public provident Fund(PPF) and National Saving certificate (NSC) saving schemes in INDIA under settlement funds?

As both can be en-cashed anytime with minor penalty (as both will be withdrawn before maturity).

Ignore Employment Requirement section. It is not considered during assessment. You can apply as long as you have one year continuous job experience in eligible NOC.

Century, excellent idea. However, I used annexure and explained Industry/company specific jargons used in the experience letter. I reproduced the duties portion and then added "(i.e. .......)" where i thought further clarification is required for a layman to link the responsibility with NOC. Yes, i also added few more responsibilities to achieve max possible matching. In the end, its a personal choice and ur satisfaction level with experience letter.

it seems, no one use the table except me ??? ??? ???

CIC should consider removing it .

Well, you can apply under an NOC even if there is a mismatch between degrees but NOTE THAT EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR IS NOT A TEACHER. Teachers are covered secondary, Elementary, & Kindergarten teachers are covered under 4031/4032. Early childhood educator is specialized field for intellectual develop of children to develop their vision but mainly this occupation deals with "educators" of special children, who need special care and methodology.

If your teaching experience is related to such field, any training or short certification can be used as an alternate to a degree but you will need very strong supportive documents to show that u have been an "educator" rather than teacher.

because it is first come first serve. In the spreadsheet, 100 applicants waiting for the charge, globally it could be few hundreds.

Note that highest amount of applications were submitted on 7th may; CIO could not move forward without clearing it.

U r missing the fact that 7th was heaviest day for CIC, our friend MIKE's shoulder joint slipped just by signing the receipt forms and pushing the heavy carts full of applications.

Net net, CIC is still stuck with 7th May applications and expected to remain busy with them at least for next week.
