5. PERSONAL DETAIL OF MOTHER- My mother uses my fathers name as her last name, the question here is asking for mother's family name at birth. Is it ok if I put my father's name as her last name.. or I have to give her original last name at birth (In the additional family info form I wrote her name as she writes now.. her name than my father's name as her last).

6. c. I selected 'yes' option as I visited canada once. and after that in the blank space I mentioned my canadian visitor visa detail.
Did I do it right or should I simply select 'No' as an answer for 6.c?

8. Personal detail: I filled all time with detail but there was 3 month gap between my BBA and starting of MBA so I wrote- "Preparing for higher study and job" as activity. Please comment if I wrote it right.

12. This one is bit complex. If I count last 10 years, I stayed in my current address from 2004 till September 2008, then I went for my mba in uk, stayed 6.5 months, came back home in vacation, stayed in current address for 1 month, went back again to UK to complete study, stayed 5.5 month, afterward came back and till now staying in my current home. so there are two address- 1. home country, 2. UK address.

How should I write the detail!? based on in and out should I just write the addresses? Like--
1. 2004-06 to 2008-09 --- home country
2.2008-10-2009-04-----UK
3. 2009-04-2009-05---Home country
4. 2009-06-2009-10----UK
5.2009-11--- till present--home country :S :S :S

Please help..... I am very confused..

6.c: If you claimed as Refugee, then Yes else NO. I think, your case will be NO.

Which bank DD?

Icici bank says they are r unable to provide this information whether encashed or not.

Does anyone know about the cap updates?

How many applications CIC have received for NOC:2131, civil engineering?

I checked on the spread sheet there are 47 applicants are listed there? So whats a good guess that how many application for NOC 2131 have already been submitted?

My friend is going to submit his application in first week of July. Will he be able to submit before the cap reached?

In Generic form I wrote my current occupation "Technical Lead"(Designation)
and Intended occupation "Software Engineers and Designers"

I just wrote NID expirty date N/A. Is it ok?

I didnt translate NID.Is it ok?

Also have some mistake in name "Sharif" is written "Sarif". I didnt give any cover letter. Is it ok?



In Economic for Q 12.a

I wrote occupation "Technical Lead" and NOC "2173"

Should I have write "Software Engineers and Designers" instead of "Technical Lead"

Another query:

Should I have to make my Occupation history in Economic Class form and Personal history in Background Declaration should same?

I've never had a cool, calm and collected exterior. I've been a nervous wreck ever since the application left my hands!

I won't get an SMS because I paid by DD. I have to go ask my bank every time I want to check.

I see in the spreadsheet a lot of people mentioning a visa office in Canada. Should I interpret that those people are already in Canada and applying from there?

Also, how does CIO treat your previous job titles? The reason I am asking is because my job title is Logistics Coordinator, but, in fact, everything I do is what a Purchasing Manager does (even stated in the reference letter) also having a team of my own. Therefore, I applied for that NOC. How will CIO interpret this? Will they label me as unfit because the job title does not directly match?

Be cautious abt the # of ur visits, one of the impatient (around) 15th may applicant kept on asking and on 6th June frustrated teller informed him that the DD has been encashed 8)

Job title does not matter , as long as your duties are in line with your intended NOC.

Mine was ICICI DD as well, they only told me that my CC got charged on 6/6, just visit the branch where you got your DD prepared and they should be able to tell you whether your DD got encashed or not.

Preferably go after 3PM Indian time as ICICI personnel might say they need to check with overseas clearing branch.

Hello Ashif Bhai,

I have noticed that there is one line in your PER mail (2013) that is different from the corresponding line in my PER (2014).

You have:
"Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing."

Whereas, I have:
"Your application has now been placed into processing."

Does the difference signify anything? I wonder why CIO has made the wording like that in that line for this year's PER emails.

This is nothing but a bit more diplomatic reply from CIC....

Significance for both PER emails should not bring any change bcoz getting PER means ur file will be put in process...no doubt.

And of course this processing will be completed by a local Visa office....So it need to be transferred to a local Visa office even if they dont mention on the PER email....
