Guys, I have an inquiry. A lot of the applications of 1, 2, and 5 May still not charged!!! I guess CIC is so harsh this year. What do you think?!?

Congrats people for your cc charged.

Even I am a 5th May applicant for noc 1112. 7th May applicants are getting their cc charged. Not sure what happened to other 1st 2nd and 5th May applicants. Not expecting anything tommorow being the last day of week.

Hope all of these get their cc charged next week.

Mine was ICICI DD as well, they only told me that my CC got charged on 6/6, just visit the branch where you got your DD prepared and they should be able to tell you whether your DD got encashed or not.

Preferably go after 3PM Indian time as ICICI personnel might say they need to check with overseas clearing branch.

Got SMS that my CC is charged. NOC 2174, Application reached 7th May.

I called up my bank and they informed that the transaction is still unprocessed, and when the merchant claims within 15 days the transaction will be reflected in the statement... Do you guys are aware if this is normal process..

Did any one of you came across a case where a TIME stamp has been noticed on a returned application? To my understanding, only DATE stamp is relevant and time of day when application was received is ignored.


My understanding is based on following:

Page 10 of the attachment

"Note: Applications are date stamped upon receipt at the CIO and then checked for completeness in order by date of receipt. The “application received” date at the CIO is the lock-in date. Processing offices should therefore maintain the application received date from the time of the applicant's initial submission to the CIO, and process the application to conclusion."

What I understood: It is the date that is locked-in not the time.

This is also consistent with definition on CIC cap page. the number of applications mentioned are completed applications (first hurdle), not necessarily with cc charge or PER. They may check an application for completeness and keep it in the queue for further processing, at which stage CC charge would come.

If this proves correct, we may have entirely new perspective to analyse the data we have.

Offcourse, I wish this to be true as this means all the 7th may applications are to be processed by CIO

This is the completely normal process of any CC issued by any bank....

Congrats!!!! CIC and NOC 2174 are ALIVE! !!!!

Guys suggestions ? If I send a letter, are they going to entertain it and change my form with the latest one is sent?

Contact with the concerned department. They will not de-activate your old card. Mine card was also changed by ICICI bank but my previous card was not de-activated. Try contacting the concerned department this will solve.

U badly need a tranquilizer named CC/DD charge and then its booster - PER, as u r becoming VERY lethal.

Unfortunately, these medicines are only available at CIC Pharmacy, which has ever increasing order backlog since 1st May 2014. You have to patiently wait for your turn otherwise you may become a chronic patient, so be patient, stop hurting other patients they may be suffering more than you and always bear a patient smile.

I've never had a cool, calm and collected exterior. I've been a nervous wreck ever since the application left my hands!

I won't get an SMS because I paid by DD. I have to go ask my bank every time I want to check.

Which bank DD was submitted by you?
