Dear All,
This is regarding one of my freind's case. could you please provide me a solution.

surname empty in passport

My daughter's surname in passport is empty,while the given name is as "first name middle name last name".While trying to fill the form IMM008,the surname field is mandatory and it is mentioned to be same as in passport.Hence i cannot leave the surname blank nor enter a valid name since in the passport its blank.Please let me know your comments

My file reached yesterday (09/june/2014) for NOC 2174 what are the chances of being in cap??

Frankly speaking, no one knows but CIC. Pessimist would say 2174 cap already reached. Optimist would say 2174 is still open. Every one has their own logic. But my advise - if you really hate being under stress, be positive and let CIC has the final word.

So im about to list the rest of my travels on a new sheet since i cant continue on the sheet provided by cic,
For the declaration background even if i lived at another addres for 4 months out of my country of citizenship i should add it? just verifying since i thought id have to live there for at least 6 months

CIC website says it is strongly recommended to provide PCC.

Can any one please help me how I can obtain PCC (specifically if any one can guide me from Bangalore).
How much time it would take.

As per my calculation:
1/may to 6/may => 39
7/May to 14/may => 80
15/May to 20/May => 150
21/May to 27/May => 150
28/May to 4/June => 200
5/June to 13/June => 200

Original document is original. It never require attestation. These are mandatory for translation:

1. Photocopy of Original document attested by notary
2. Translated document - translated by certified translator and attested by notary
3. Affidavit of translator - attested by notary

I have all three documents ready in India.. I am in Malaysia .. Do i need to bring the documents from India or i can get a print from scan copy..?

Go to near SP office apply for police clearance pay the fee.... your report will come to ur hometown police station for verification after everything goes well u can pick ur PCC from SP office... total time took for mine PCC was 1 month and paid 30 Rupee as a fee here in Uttar Pradesh

I asked this question because I already filled up the Additional Family Information and Background Declaration for Spouse.

In those forms spouse academic history already mentioned.

2. Should I have to add my visa pages?

3. in Travel document, Should I have to give N/A in Child's name (I dont have child)

Adding to what Century already said, you need to send the above documents as it is. Scanned copy of translated document, affidavit will not be acceptable.

Visa pages are not instructed to send for passport....

Doc checklist telling to send ---only the bio page....
