I am providing my saving account and checking account statements to show settlement fund. Would the checking account statement work? Also for how long do we have to keep that money in the bank? How long does CIC take to perform that background check wrt to the settlement funds?

No, its 5th May applicants turn, May 1&2 were few and completed in few days (took more than 1 week). May 3&4 was weekend. Actual rush of applications started from 5th May. So expect it to take some days, my personal guess is that from May 5th till 14/15th May, it will be 1 day application being processed per week.

So, ur turn would be either by end of this week or next week.

I see ur CC got charged....did ur job reference letter mention duties and responsibilities?
Or did u just mention them in Schedule 3 form?
Cuz all companies do not mention duties and responsibilities in their appointment or reference letter.

Yes my primary job code 2173 experience letter had everything CIC asked for, whether they think it matches there NOC desc. is a different story

I sent my birth document (which was not in english) along with translated copy which was notarized but no affidavit from translator is attached .Will it work or my application will be rejected

job duties and responsibilities in the reference letter is very important and is one of the factors used to assess your application. it has to be close to 60-70% of the NOC you are applying for.

From what I have seen on this forum, that will most probably lead to rejection...they are kind of strict on the experience letters the way they want them to be....atleast for the primary NOC job for which you are claiimg min 1 year exp.

How did u manage? Did u ask ur company to issue letter in particular format asking to list out Job duties and responsibilities?
