Jango1, Do not mislead aspirants. Please bear in mind here we are applying for immigration, not applying for graduation in a university. So, we need to follow CIC guidelines. CIC is quite clear on this, even though a little generic.

The deal is this:
Submit black/white photocopies of all the educational documents and get the highest qualification ONLY assed by WES. Whether somebody want to assess, all the educational level with WES is only optional(does not fetch any extra points, but it would be a real waste of time)

Only when the educational docs are not in English, the translation with notary is required.

Sweetypie2501 : I feel you did not understand what I told. All educational docs 10, 12th and graduation need to be photocopied and notarized not for WES (Read my comments once again) but while applying to CIC. (I have done this myself on consultation given by ICCRC member)

As far as WES is concerned all mark sheets which help you to attain highest qualification need to be send to WES. (Not all, of course it wastes time) I have done it myself and so in a position to tell people.

Its always a good practice to notarize any photocopied docs that you send, especially when you deal with embassies who know the color of our inner wears. Its a matter of changing your life, so why take chances...

hello

I am going to fill up the forms. but some doubts arise.

there are tables for record. i need only one row. it is said that there should not be any blank space in the form. so should i put N/A in the 2nd row only? or should i write N/A in all the cells in all the rows?

and in some forms i need to add additional pages as the space provided in the form is not enough. i wrote 'Enclosed in additional page' in the 1st row. in the form should i write 'N/A' in the other rows or "enclosed in additional page' ?!

If you don't need all the rows of one table, just fill in the rows you need and leave the rest blank. As long as you fill in one row it is fine. If you have nothing to fill in for a table, write "Not Applicable" or write as provided in the instructions.

If you need more space than the table provides, attach an annexure. But fill in the table on the form first and then in the last row of the table refer to the annexure. DON'T just leave a table blank and write "See annexure."

To FUTURE_CANADIAN...

Thanks for your reply...things might b easy everywhere else...but wonders happen in this part of the world....Now I GUess I ve to go to my INSTITUTE to expedite the proceedings... anyway..lets see...

By d way...DO I NEED TO SEND THE " WES TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM" along with the other docs???

Yes, you need to send `Academic Record Request form` filled along with other docs. I have seen peoples request being delayed because WES has asked for that form..

How many people are in your family? Check the settlement funds requirement to see if you exceed it for the number of people in your family: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

You are good to go with Liquid funds only as 25,500 seems sufficient for 5 family members including you...

Family members Funds Req. $CAD
1 $11,824
2 $14,720
3 $18,097
4 $21,971
5 $24,920
6 $28,105
7 or more $31,291

If you have more than 5 , then will advise you go for valuation deed for your house must be in your name...

A valuation deed for the house won't help because a home is not a liquid asset that can be included in settlement funds.

Good question: Based on my analysis which includes CIC news letter saying CIC intends to finish of FSW 2014 within a years time.
2) VO delhi record shows maximum time required for visa processing is 22 months average 16 months and minimum I have known is 8 months.
3) FSW 2013 pending have been cleared so the VO is free for new ones..

I think for early submitters who have submitted in 1st 2 weeks of May for FSW 2014, it should take by June end for case to be accepted at CIC and below 8 months to be processed at VO delhi..

That has nothing to do with assets or settlement funds.
