Hi People

I think my query got missed in all the high activity on this amazing forum.
I need some advice urgently.
I had applied for FSW 2014.
When I had made the application I was in India and moved to a different country and changed my job like 2 months ago.
Received my email for "Positive determination of eligibility" around a month ago.
Now I received email from Delhi embassy for medicals and PCC last week.
Now since I am in a different country and changed my job so I need to get these updated in my application and I so believe my application need to move to the Canadian embassy here from the Canadian embassy in Delhi.
I have already sent email to CIO, Sydney about the change in my circumstances and asking for advice how to go about getting this updated in my file and further course of action.
I did the same with Canadian embassy in Delhi through the online form on CIC website.
I have not received any reply from any of of the 2 offices yet.
the time is running fast because they have given me a deadline for submitting medicals and PCC however in the changed circumstances I am not sure what to do.
Can you please provide some guidance how to handle this situation and if you have any other email id or something where I could explain my position to CIC, please share with me.

Thanks

Hi Max,

My Scenario was same as yours. I kept my file when I was in India but then moved to USA. So I had my Medicals in USA with CIC approved doctor. CIC has accepted it and my status has also changed to "Medical Received". So don't panic and go ahead with your medicals from your region.

hello Kris00,

On the basis of some previous replies and CIC website, I can say that U can go for MR in any CIC authorized hospital or doctor irrespective of ur location.

Can you provide link for this please

Hi Guys...

Which is best option out of these 2... 1. Going to US on H1B Visa and wait for 8-9 years to become PR of US and atleast 5 more years to become US citizen or 2. Go to Canada on PR and become Canadian Citizen..

What answer do you expect if you ask on this forum ?
Obviously option 2. :P :P :P

Since app date and CC charge dates have considerably reduced from > 3 months to less than 2 months, you can safely assume that you'll be in CAP for 2172. Please don't delay your next app and ensure it reaches before Christmas holidays for CIC.

Seniors.. your thoughts pls.

??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? URGENT ADVISE REQUIRED ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

One of my friends just came to know from his bank that his CC transaction failed because the ccv number is wrong. Is there ANY WAY he can rectify this.

Can the bank accept/approve the payment based on his instructions, even if ccv is wrong?

Is there a way he can contact CIO immediately and give them the right ccv?

Can he call the CC company and ask them to approve the transaction?

YOUR HELP IS REALLY APPRECIATED. I am having goosebumps since I heard the news and feeling as if this is my app.

Regards to you all

Transaction cannot be rejected for wrong CVV number. CVV is not mandatory, especially for special status merchants like CIC, where transactions are cleared on good faith basis. The bank guy is giving wrong info.

Live example : Grooby got his card debited which was blocked by his CC company and also with wrong CVV.

Bro the option after ECAS status page is only for people living already in canada and having address at canada only. So therefore I cannot access that...FAQ 's also describe the same for canadians only.....non PR's

Yes realized the same now. In this case a cover letter requesting to update your email id duly signed by PA along with representative cancellation form will suffice.

Good Luck
