For "proof of Funds" I got my balance certificate from my bank which shows my balance in Indian Rupees. The Bank is not providing it in Canadian dollars :-(


Will it be a problem???

I dont think that should be a problem. I did the same and i have received my PER yesterday.

Had a small query, I am about to send my Medical/RRPF and PCC. Should i also share with them my updated POF. Since i broke all my FD's and transferred to different bank.

Any suggestions?

One of my friends just came to know from his bank that his CC transaction failed because the ccv number is wrong. Is there ANY WAY he can rectify this.

Can the bank accept/approve the payment based on his instructions, even if ccv is wrong?

Is there a way he can contact CIO immediately and give them the right ccv?

Can he call the CC company and ask them to approve the transaction?

YOUR HELP IS REALLY APPRECIATED. I am having goosebumps since I heard the news and feeling as if this is my app.

Guys do we receive NER if our app is rejected due to any reason or no , the wait is so frustrating No update yet for 25th July application :'(

My friend .. i know waiting is a killer. COuple applicants (18th Jul and 25th Jul) have received their PER yesterday.

Your sharing is really encouraging.

I applied for 2133 as a digital circuit design engineer and it is really hard to match 80%, even 60% of the JD. There is only one description about circuit design on the official main duties! I am really worried about this and you really gave me strength to believe.

Brother my JDs matched 60% but i got the PER. In my NOC 2132 its not possible to get 70% match wid the JDs because it involves working of 3 different deparments . Bottomline is that the JDs mentioned need to make sense and 50% is gud enuf. U will get ur PER for sure.

CIC is not charging for noc 2171 applicants, does it mean game over for 2171 applicants, I thought they will at-least cover sept applicants, I am 17th sept applicant.

Hi Guys,

I need help for my FSW application, I know I am late but better later than never. I am going to apply under NOC 2172 this weekend and need some clarification on below points :-
1. In form IMM0008_3E (Schedule 3) question 12 a and 12b, should I mention "Occupation" as NOC 2172 Title i.e. something like Database Administrator or else I should put my title in the company I work for?
2. Furthermore in question 12 B, I have all my experience as DBA with more or less similar roles and responsibilities but in different companies. I should mention consolidated experience i.e something like NOC 2172 - 2008-07 to PRESENT(2014-12) or I should divide this on per company basis? If I split per company then it would look like, NOC 2172 - 2008-07 to 2010-07, NOC 2172 - 2010-07 to 2012-01, NOC 2172 - 2012-01 to 2014-08, NOC 2172 - 2014-08 to PRESENT?
3. My birth certificate is billingual (in both english/hindi), should I get it translated or it is not required?

Hi Guys...

Which is best option out of these 2... 1. Going to US on H1B Visa and wait for 8-9 years to become PR of US and atleast 5 more years to become US citizen or 2. Go to Canada on PR and become Canadian Citizen..

If you ask me .. it is about your priorities on where you want to end up eventually.

Both these countries offer a unique experience. Sit down with your family and ask them about their opinion and you might find an answer to your question.
