Just received my PER email. Many thanks to all the moderators and members of this wonderful forum!

Here are my application details:

NOC: 2171
Application received date: July 25, 2014
PER received date: Nov 25, 2014

The status update on CIC case tracking portal says:
Application status: In Process

On clicking the link, the next page shows one line:
1. We received your application for permanent residence on July 25, 2014.

I am currently living and working in USA and sent my application from here. What is the next step in this process? Shall I expect to receive AOR email from Ottawa visa office?

No NDVO will be working tomorrow as they follow Indian holidays..

Even if they follow Canada Holiday list then also this Thanksgiving is for US.. In Canada Thanksgiving is celebrated in October.. So Don't worry we still have two days to wait for PPR in this week/month :'( :'(

I have received NER from cic stating that your total point comes to 63.They have not calculated five points of adaptability though my real brother is a citizen of canada & I have attached his birth cerificate,canadian passport,citizen card and latest electricity bil

Please seniors provide urgent solution..

Can I request CIC to reconider my case & what additional proof should I attach to prove relationship??

I had taken DD of RPRF from HDFC and now they are not telling me whether it is encashed or not. Any one who took DD from HDFC bank and got the information?

If you are using Netbanking , try to raise a request in the same or go to branch head and tell him to check in finware where it is reflecting pending or Paid

Which is best option out of these 2... 1. Going to US on H1B Visa and wait for 8-9 years to become PR of US and atleast 5 more years to become US citizen or 2. Go to Canada on PR and become Canadian Citizen..

Latest CC Charged: 10 September
Latest DD encashed:13 August
Latest PER:5 August
Total CIC Apps: 9,860

This is not correct info .. One of my know recieved medicals after 30 days of per....

There are exceptions and i guess we use the avg time as a reference.

My application reached CIO by 21st November and my mode of payment is Credit Card
By when I could expect to hear from them again?

As per the current trend, 10th Sept was the latest cc charged..

My Noc is 0911 and currently its 144 capped

I would say wait for one more month
