The best approach is to use the credit card and the card can belong to your friend or parents and it is the best cause u will come to know when they deduct it and u will be certain that your appilication has gone through initial review.

Hi, but by credit cards if they try to deduct sometimes the Bank will block the transactions and also we do not when they will deduct actually. Thats the problem. That's why I prefer DD.

Response to some of your queries is as follows,

1. DO NOT HIDE ANYTHING PERIOD. so go with second approach.

2. Family members are ONLY SPOUSE & CHILDREN (in your case SPOUSE, only)

3. In any case, PCC can be submitted later but it has no bearing when the passport is issued. PCC for either last 1o years, or since 18 yrs of age if the person is less than 28 yrs old is required (can be submitted later).

4. No document of parents/siblings required if you are not claiming any points for RELATIVES In CANADA. In such a case, you have to provide birth certificates which prove the relation in Canada

5. Marriage certificate is enough to include your spouse.

6. Q# 15, yes you are spouse of your spouse so enter your name.

Difference between 2173 and 2174 ? who should apply for 2173 and 2173 ?

Software Testing Engineer is listed in the job titles section but roles and responsibilities are not close to Testing Engineer... also there is licensing by provincial mentioned what does that mean ?


2173 Employment requirements states the following particularly point 1 below and point 2 related to licensing

1. A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or mathematics
or
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.

2. Licensing by a provincial or territorial association of professional engineers is required to approve engineering drawings and reports and to practise as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).

3. Engineers are eligible for registration following graduation from an accredited educational program, three or four years of supervised work experience in engineering, and passing a professional practice examination.

4. Experience as a computer programmer is usually required.

Where as 2174 states
Employment requirements

1. A bachelor's degree in computer science or in another discipline with a significant programming component
or
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.

2. Specialization in programming for engineering and scientific applications requires specific post-secondary study or experience.


Question for experts 2173 also states Software Testing Engineer but when we look at 2283 that perfectly matches the Software Testing Engineer roles and responsibilties. So the question does Software Test Engineer fit into 2173 ? and what does licensing part mean for 2173?

Hi, I applied last year but my application was returned due to cap reached. And I used DD. Yes its true that you will know that your application was reviewed instantly as it will reflect to the credit card balance but there might be instances that the card wont work or the credit card company blocks it, and when it happens, your application will be returned, although there are so many people have used it and successfully applied. On the other hand, for DD, it a cashed drawn and available to the receiver general of canada.you already transferred the payment but you will get to know after a month or 2 if your DD was encashed. What imprortamt is, if you have a DD of right amount it wont be returned except if the cap is reached. In my case, I called the bank several times to asked if its encashed. And after it was returned, I just went to the bank and cancelled the cheque..after 2 days the amount was returned to my account. I believed DD is a safest method. and the draft has no validity means its automatically 6 mos valid.

Apply with current passport. When your friend's file transferred to VO, inform them. Don't waste time and don't mention anything right now - it could make the matter complicated.

Last year, a few applicant's cards were stolen; they suspend the cards and later realize there is no way to inform and provide new credit card information.

So, another approach of using credit card could be throw the credit card into deep ocean or deep into amazon jungle so no one can ever steal it.

You can put the exactly same thing. In case, you don't have enough space in the form, you can add additional pages. On the top of additional page, write your name, DOB, passport number, name of the form, and write the number of the question you are giving details.

PCC at most could be 3 month old when reached CIO. You better send it later to VO.

Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.,

Submitting it or not is fine, after all you will be submitting a new one later on
