How much time NDVO is taking for passport request and further visa issual, after receiving medicals status updated in ECAS.

I heard that VISA will be valid only for one year after medicals have been received at NDVO. So if it takes lot of time to get visa after medicals, then it will be a very small window to goto Canada which can sometimes becomes tough to manage.

folks i need your advice i had two jobs that falls under NOC 2281 on section 12a of the imm008-schedule 3 form i put 2281 as the NOC code however in the section that says occupation(section 12a) i listed both positions, will my application be rejected even though both jobs fall in the same NOC? can i correct the form and resend?

The CIC has finally deducted the application fees from my account but I haven't received any email from them yet. Shouldn't I receive an email from them and when should I receive it ?

When did ur application reach CIC? I dont see any entry against ur name in spreadsheet? Could u please update NOC and date of receipt?

Hi seniors! Do you think my file will be returned if i didn't specify the visa office? I am applying from within canada and the instruction guide on Imm 0008 says i't doesn't apply to those applying from within Canada so i leave it blank. My file was validated though even without visa office. If you can take a look at what I'm saying, or if you know anything about this. Please tell me your thoughts. I will really appreciate it.

I am not an expert but I applied from within canada and I didn't mention any visa office but They didn't reject my case, I think this means its ok.

I am applying under FSW under NOC 2172. Have couple of questions, please help in clarifying

1) I have total of 12 years in one company and worked in India / US and currently in canada. Since my company has denied giving experience letter, planning to get reference letter from colleagues on company letter head. Since i worked in India/US/ Canada, should i get reference letter from each region for those period or one reference letter should be good enough
2) While getting reference letters if i mention company designation, is it fine or should i mention title according to NOC code job duties
3) Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application? As i am in Canada currently with less than 1 year, should i write as INDIA or leave it blank as per guide lines in CIC website
3) In Current Occupation, if i write designation as in Company, is that ok. Or should i write the one mentioned on Work permit as Software Engineer which is very generic
4) In Intended Occupation, if i write title as per NOC code or should i write NOC code itself
5) As i had worked in different positions, my Job duties fall under 2172/ 2173/ 2174. Should i mention one NOC code in Schedule 3 Economic class form or need to list each seperately. (Under NOC 2172 i have worked for 8 Years)
6) In Schedule 3- Economic Classes form, for question 3a. Do you have an offer of Employment in Canada? For this i have mentioned as NO, though i am working in Canada as my company has deputed me here on Temporary basis (IntraCompany Transfer).

you wont receive an email from CIC immediately, they will send you one email with your UCI no in next 10 - 12 days...

So which Visa Office should I select? Would it be New Delhi, or one in North America?

I think it depends on whether you have one year of valid visa permit in USA. then you can choose CPC-Ottawa. A consultant told new delhi is faster than cpc-ottawa. Seniors review please.
