1) prepare new package and send it with a cover letter to withdraw previous submission.
2) send an addendum with cover letter explaining the situation.

The first option is guaranteed to work. The second one is not, so you can end up waiting a few months for the completion check, then a month or two to get your file back by snail mail and ultimately going back to option 1, having to start the waiting game from scratch.

Whatever course of action seems most appropriate to you, be sure to act fast.
I don't know, how many application is left in NOC 2281, WSA ECA report is also there and IELTS original certificate is also not with me.

Will they accept, if I will send local language BC with notary and will mention all necessary details on top of that.

Hey Ananjay ,

Does your status change or its still file received on the date xxxxxx ?

I am asking to just get an idea when we will receive .

Regards
N

Dear Seniors,

Sorry to keep nagging, i am 9th June applicant and worries are eating me as my CC did not get charged yet.
I am considering preparing a new application in case my previous application was not accepted. I have to queries:

1. I want to send CIC an email to enquire about my case. What information should i include in my email so that they are able to track my application and when should i expect a reply?
2. Also will they tell me why the application has been rejected in the email (which will save me time so that I can rectify the problem while they application is in the snail mail).

Thanks

Hello People,

I need some urgent piece of advice from you all. I have shared earlier with you all that my wife was expecting and I had received the medical's request. As advised by lot of forumites, we opted not to go for the X-ray for my wife at this stage and got all other medical tests done in the last week of September. Unfortunately last week she had a miscarriage and now I am in a fix whether to wait for the VO to reply or inform them or get the X-ray done and send it to them.... I am confused what to do now.

Will highly appreciate if you guys can suggest me what to do.

Many thanks in advance...

Cheers
Harry

Very sorry to hear this.

I suggest having the x-ray done and sending it in along with a note explaining the situation. If you happen to receive the reply from the VO in the meantime (i.e. your communications passed one another in transit), reply immediately reiterating your explanation.

Good luck.

I checked online status and it says "In-Process" - We received your application for permanent residence on June 11, 2014. I applied last year thus I have UCI.

I applied for NOC 2173. CC not yet charged and no email yet. What is my chance?

Thanks in advance.

1. u need to mention the UCI (if any) / Passport No + DOB and date of delivery of the application.
2. I doubt whether they'll tell the reason of rejection..

u still have time.. i just saw a 4th June applicant got charged as per the SS.

Folks,

I have been following the posts for over a month, thanks for the valuable information you provide here. I am almost ready to send my application and have a quick question, your help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

For the Work experience letter, Should we send a photocopy or the original? I can send the original as I don't have a use for it but my concern is will VO ask for it again if I send the original to CIC?

Thanks

Send Copies (originals may be requested later by an officer)

See number 12 on Document Checklist:

1) I think you should give affidavit if lost documents are very important like BS, offer letter. For other documents covering letter on normal page is fine.
2) Covering letter should be before the documents where you are justifying your case. Eg. In case of JOB you should put it before your job doc start.

Hope this helps. Best Luk

Thanks. I want to prove relation of my mother to my aunt who is a Canadian citizen. Niether of them have birth certificates. So am attaching Matric certificate of both and also copy of mother's passport along with citizenship proof of my aunt. I am assuming that's sufficient. Will explain lack of BCs in the cover letter.
