how many days does NDVO takes to reply on case specific enquiry ? i have sent a enquiry on 24th of last month but till no reply.

What do we mention at TYPE OF APPLICATION ?-- PR IN CANADA OR WORKER ?

My CC got charged on 26 September. But I have not received PER yet. But CIC has not returned money either yet. I feel its still positive. But can anyone tell, who will receive PER, me or my representative. I am June 9th applicant.

Do we send original job reference letter for current job or a photocopy. I'm just making sure coz somebody just posted we need to submit photocopies of reference letter

Hi guys I have just posted my documents today morning. But recenlty I just read in one post that CIC is not giving any points for Diploma in Nursing ie GNM.
I got WES report and its equal to "3 years of hospital study and training".

Is it true??

Why should you be scared if all info is given honestly.

Just let VO do whatever checks they want. they are not unfair to anyone, thats for sure. So don't worry.

My fiance is the primary applicant and my plan is to apply for her as primary applicant.

My question is, do i need to write IELTS too as a dependent? I'm not going to mention myself as conjugal partner because we are planning to get married in the month of December and hoping to submit her application by mid November...

So its like, will submit her application as primary applicant only by November and we are planning to get married by December and will update CIC about our marriage.

Why not get married on paper before the app is sent? Avoid the extra work, then have an official wedding in December? Getting married after is creating more hurdles u have to overcome. Just my 2 cents.

If u r not applying as a dependant you don't need to write IELTS..

but you writing IELTS gives her 5 adaptability points (if you apply as secondary applicant post marriage)... you can do a court marriage.. get it registered and apply jointly... just a suggestion..

In that case you are anyways not the dependent now.

And in any case, it is not mandatory for dependent to give IELTS test unless you want to claim additional 5 points for adaptability.

Very true. Keep in mind that having a spouse added to the file AFTER submission is a lengthy process. It's safer to proceed with marriage before filing the application.

I don't think CIC ever returns money. Once they charge CC / DD, that's irreversible that's what I've learned from some of the candidate's apps which were returned after getting charged!

Of course this doesn't mean that your app is going to be returned. Your app should be fine, good luck!

copies r fine.. originals r kept for later reference if CIC asks for it...
sending originals won't hurt them but if they ask you for it.. how can u produce those..
