Hello!

My credit was declined yesterday by AMEX assuming a Fraud transaction. However, CIC made a second attempt after I resolved the issue and I have confirmed with AMEX that this time they have approved the transaction. What a Relief. Below are my details:

Application Date: May 30th
NOC: 1112
CC Charge Date: September 17th

I apologize if this has been answered previously in the forum, but considering the number of posts it is very difficult to search using key words.

1. What is the next step after CC charge and getting PER e-mail (it seems there is a lag of 7-10 days after CC charge)?

2. At what stage do we have to send the PCC and how long do we have to send them? (I have PCC from Indian Consulate but will apply with FBI in a day or so)

3. How long does the Medical Request stage take?

Great !!! Thanks and +1 for updating the forum about this very helpful info.

1) Depends on the VO. For CPC-O, it takes about a month to receive MR after PER.
2)VO will ask for PCC along with MR if you didn't already send one. Current processing time for FBI is about 10 weeks. Start the process ASAP.
3)Once you submit your MR and everything is good, you will get passport request within a few days/weeks. You will have 60 days (assumming CPC-0) to submit your MR (and PCC).

BTW, I scored 8.5 in Written test in IELTS...you gave me half a point less.
So I infer, GSW test is more difficult as compared to IELTS test.

Yeah, maybe you are right, they didnt need it in the past but that doesn't mean that these guys are interested to go there, even if they gonna change the whole career, you primarily don't make this tough plan of resettlement in another country just for yourself, but mainly for your family and kids, who will get the most out of that, getting raised in such environment and with the quality education, my self have a file in Quebec since 2011 but i'm tired studying french, so that by here it is much easier to go to Canada, that's why i fear there are many like me but didn't add their details in the SS and we suddenly found hundreds just fill up the CAP

Sorry for coming back after signing off. The thing you said is very sensible. There are lot of pearls of leaving our current life and settling in a foreign country without even a job on hand. I have seen lot of excitement when guys get their visa and are very happy. But, when the land and reality hits....... lot of people get depressed and demoralized. I dont attribute it to their abilities or something else, its just that we are new to place and culture, its a different world out there and we need to give ourselves the benefit of doubt for few months. The real patience is need then, not for waiting for Visa.

But I sincerely wish all the forum members a very Good Luck for their settlement in Canada.

I am 4th June applicant from India...

I have a big problem here with my JD letter that the person who signed it (My company's manager) has resigned from the job yesterday...

Now waht should I do to inform CIC for my future enquiry as he may not be qualified as per CIC rules(if any)

He ha shis personal mobile obviously but i wish to ask seniors advice here....

Pleeeeeaaaseeee share views if anybody know about this...

Yes, they did. First attempt was 9/16 - 8:56 PM Central Time (Around 11:00 PM in Nova Scotia). Second attempt was 9/17 13:20 Central Time (Around 15:20 in Nova Scotia)
