Wow :o

What you can do as well is to ask which canadian bank have they drawn it from and then call them and try to enquire. In my case my brother made a DD directly from TD bank and got the confirmation from them.

Well just stay positive by the end of next week PER seems possible for you. 8)

In ahmedabad as well there is one Visa temple of Hanumanji. "Visa vala hanumanji" check the URL name: http://www.visahanuman.com/ :) :)
Definitely, i should visit there for their blessings as I am from A'bad only.

There is also a gurudwara near Jallandhar Punjab where after paying obeisance u have to place a Toy aesroplane in the gurdwara nd then u r gud to go for getting a Visa . :) Once i visited the place it was full of Toy aeroplanes. :o
Gujus and Punjabis are so fond of going abroad that the day isn't far when in Canada white folks will be rare to find. And on seeing a white folk our desi pepl will be like "Oh dekho Gora" :P :P

hi guys :)

for those who are currently in Singapore and are going to be required to submit a Singapore Certificate of Clearance (COC), it is best to apply for it as soon as you received your PCC request.

Processing time of SG COC;
for Singapore citizen = 10 working days (~2weeks)
for Singapore PR/foreigner = 15 working days (~3weeks)

and if you have chosen a Visa Office other than Singapore, remember to allow courier time for sending it to your respective VO.

Some other reminders:
  • Applicants residing in Singapore are to appear in person at the COC Office located at Blk D
    Police Cantonment Complex, #02-07/08, 391 New Bridge Road, Singapore 088762. The
    office is open from 8.30am to 12.00nn, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
  • Be there early. The whole process can be done in 45mins to 1hour. You will have to queue against more people if you arrived later.
  • Prepare photo copies of your passport data page and NRIC (front & back)
  • Come to the office with your forms already filled-up. According to your citizenship, you have to print, fill-up/prepare at the most 3 forms from the MR email sent by your VO namely;
    • Singapore_COC_Appform.pdf
    • COC Request letter_amended.pdf
    • IP-43 SPORE CoC Appeal Applc Form.doc (for non-Singaporeans)
  • Prepare 2pcs passport size picture
  • Payment has increased from S$45 to S$55 with effect from 1 April 2014

+1 for you...

This is Crazy LOL!!!

Hope we all have their blessings !!!

Hahaha instead of talking to "peon" talk to branch manager

Call helpline number of bob (I hope they have one )

In short , no charges for these queries (never heard anything like that )

For Charge Date estimates, it actually does! :) And it does it very precisely, using the exact numbers of applications from the spreadsheet.

CIC has been charging fees with a surprisingly constant pace on average since the start of FSWP 2014 - it's very clear when looking at the existing data closely.
So far the estimates made 2.5 months ago have been true +- a week, and they've been improved since that time to be even more precise.

Sorry if this sounds too logical, but there's no much room for earlier charge dates, unless CIC really does something to improve their speed.
Good thing, it's unlikely for the real charge date to be later than the "last charge date" indicated in the estimate.

Yo dmitrych ....
Thanks for the awesome SS .... I dont deny the awesome work you do .... and +1 for that ... .... But you gotta accept that the charge date is a function of how CIC is processing applications and will keep on changing as and when CIC picks up or drops pace and as we move nearer to the application received date. 2 weeks back the first charge date was 15 Jan 2015 for 18th July applicants. now the first charge is somewhere in 3rd week of december.... in my optimistic view my application (18th July) will be charged in October and in my most pessimistic view, mid November ... I am glad the SS is flexible to take that into account and adjust for the same but what was predicted by the charge date a while ago aint true any more .... If you can discuss the exact parameters used for charge date estimates, I could give my 2 cents to maybe take into account other factors to improve predictability .... I am pretty decent with excel .....

"Oh dekho Gora" :P :P
hahahahha LOL ;D ;D ;D ;D
