Apart from tracking number, is there any way to know if my file hs been reached CIC? I am asking this because my consultant is not sharing the tracking number. He is just saying the documents are mailed to Canada. Dont understand how to track my application.

I can not think of a plausible reason to not share tracking ID if they have sent the application already. Can you disclose the consultant name? Looks like a con artist to me.

Which tracking number you are talking about ? Courier details you mean to say ?
You are paying your consultant to he is paying you ?
He has to give you details of courier company ( ask for the bill )

There is no other way to confirm unless you want to email them and ask for the same ( which will be reverted in 30 working days)

Ask for your manager or a senior colleague to provide you the reference as required. This can be in a plain paper, as its against company policies to use letter head unless its officially given by the heads of department like HR etc.. If possible add the business card of this employee along with the letter. Don't ever send self attested duties to CIC. It will be returned. Good Luck!

Make sure to add other optional docs like offer letter, pay stubs , appraisal letter or any other company provided docs for maximum proof

try to get it from your manager\colleague on a plain paper with his visiting card and his sign...and explain that in a cover letter the reason for the reference letters on plain paper instead of company letter head.

Additionally, if possible print out those emails which specify that they are not able to issue the reference letter and attach it with the cover letter.

Honestly, is the consultant working for you or are you working for the consultant? Ask him for the tracking number, and say that for the peace of your mind you need to track and confirm that the application has reached CIC. If your consultant refuses, maybe it's time you looked at hiring someone else!

You may / may not get an AOR from the local VO...

some Vo's send it and some don't...but i see your VO is NDVO which generally sends out the AOR...if not you will directly get MR and RPRF request

I have a question for someone who obtained PCC from Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), New Delhi. Under what scenario, does PSK initiate a physical verification? My current passport was issued by CGI San Francisco. There are two addresses printed on my current passport - India & USA. The India address is the same as my current residential address. Thanks!
