If we could merge Chinese Applicant sheet, I mean by inviting them in our sheet or keeping a track of their forum sheet, We can easily assess the time individual NOCs would be capped as India and China are the biggest share of immigrant applicants. Indian majority applicants are covered by tis forum we just need to keep an eye on chineese forum as how many applicants in each NOC are there from china....wt say guys?

That's an excellent idea which could draw a more complete picture. It could make the statistics more meaningful. We should not feel complacent without any Chinese data available.

I have degree with the title Telecommunication engineering and all the courses on my transcript are same as of electrical engineering.

can i apply as the categories don't have explicitly telecom but electrical ?

It's not about your job tittle or courses taken while in school.
Its mainly about your job descriptions and or responsibilities.If any of you Job descriptions or responsibilities in the last 10 years (1 year minimum) matches any of the advertised NOC job codes....and you can get reference letter from your employers.......you are good to go.
Don't forget there are other factors like your age,years of experience,your academic qualification assessment and your proof of English assessment in IELTS.

WES advised that your highest academic qualification should be evaluated since the immediate lower one was a pre requisite in gaining admission to the highest one.
It's the Msc that will eevaluated ....and that's 23 points for you.

queries

1) do they compelete on the date mentioned or there can be some delay?
2) do they dispatch the report same day?
3) if my application reaches by 20th may to cic in 2173 category.do i stand good chance?

Hi Buddy,

It would take sometime to get the hard copy of the WES report and last year Hot NOC was filled in 30 odd days.
I hope you should make in the cap, though it would be pretty challenging

Some people from your country have been successful with this....Atleast from my experience with 2013 FSW applicants.
You should also know some have not been successful.My candid advice is for you to try if you can raise a draft ......it's sure there won't be problem provided all other factors are satisfied.
My personal experience last year has made me conclude not to trust credit card.
I used mine for ECA evaluation on WES website and it was successful.I had confidence to use it for my application........but my application was returned back because of payment issues.
It's your choice......but I'm sure DD won't have problem..........CC may have issues nd it may be fine too.

Dear Bro,

ur designation is not an issue..But u will require ref letter from each of the employment...

In that case :

"Reference letters in the required format are necessary, please try your best to get them. If after all efforts you are unable to obtain a work reference letter, then you should provide a solemn declaration / affidavit explaining in detail why are you unable to do so. The officers at the VO are aware of the fact that different employers have different policies towards issuing such adhoc letters and may not cooperate in issuing such a letter. Please do attach all your employment records with the declaration. I was unable to obtain a work reference letter from one of my employers and did the same. However please bear in mind that the final decision rests with the visa officer handling your case."


Let me know if u require a sample copy of solemn declaration / affidavit....

I request everyone to search Chinese data online and help Admin guys incorporate the data into the Excel sheet that is being maintained for this thread. That way, we will learn about the true progress and how CAPs values are increasing toward 1000.

Yeah that makes sense, it will help all the applicants to somehow anticipate whether or not their application would lie within the cap ... but I doubt if such sheets are maintained and whether they are open to public forums ...

Why don't you look into CIC open data and see the trends of Chinese PR applicants & then extrapolate into 2014?

Thanks collins for replying me about telecom engineering post. I am 28 years old and get 5 years of experience purely in wireless mobile services in Ericsson and Huawei . I am searching for relative NOC category, if you can share any link i will be thankful.
