It is just like a birth certificate for example - one can take it anytime after birth. Doesn't need to take it just before applying for a Driver's License or applying for a Passport or applying for FSW just because these documents ask for birth certificate for proof of birth (just sharing a random example here though at different countries different documents are accepted for birth proof)

A reference letter obtained after leaving the company anytime, can happen 8 or 9 years ago from today is as acceptable as one that you get 2 days ago. Because it just talks about the time you were with the company, which was prior to that letter being issued, and that is all that matters.

Hi All,

I am in very tense situation. I have filed my application through one consultant from Mumbai whose head office is in Chandigarh. 20 Days back I had sent my documents to Mumbai office for review and then it was forwarded it to their head office in Chandigarh. Now, when I called their Chandigarh office they are saying that they haven't received my documents whereas their Mumbai office is saying that they have mailed all documents 2 weeks back. I am really fed up with this consultant, and now worried that my documents might have been misplaced.

Guys please help me, really don't know what to do in this situation. I am really worried about My original IELTS and Demand Draft.

Is there any way to file a complaint against this consultant.

Please advise!

2 months from now...they are still sending PER's for 8-12th may applicants and 14th may applicants are getting charged...

next 2 months from now or from app received ?

Did anyone notice a pattern regarding a time when cic sends our PER emails?? I'm eagerly waiting for mine, and i thought that hey are sending these out within the first hour of their work day...but still nothing... What do you guys think?

no pattern...they send whenever they want to...some even got their CC charged on weekends...very unpredicatable!!!

I do hope to do so myself, but I cannot open google docs from China due to kind of restriction. Too bad for me. That's why I have to seek admin's help. Here is my update:

I was wondering why there are so less number of Chinese people in the SS. Now it makes sense. Come to think of it, we are missing a major number of applicant from China in SS. Their figure might shewed the statistics a lot.
