I have put up my file at the Sydney NS office. The date of reciept of application was 24/06/2014. When should I expect to get a reply from the visa office?
my NOC is 0911

Hi candia999, I understand it is all a frustrating wait. But you have to look at it from CIC perspective. They have to move in a timely manner. The huge 7 May -12 May App influx disturbed their system.

Rest assured they are trying to focus on processing PER's for these guys so that they can get into a much faster cycle (time between charge and PER).

Hi guys,
I am planning to send my application within two weeks enshalla but i am confused coz i have a Bachelor degree as computer engineer but i have 5 years' experience as construction estimator which is the NOC I'm planning to apply for.
I asked one consultant to send the application through him but he reject to do so since he is confidence that my file will be rejected because my education is not matching my NOC & experience.
Please, advise if somebody been in the same situation and his or her application got accepted.

Is it too late to apply for FSW this month? This is the first time I want to apply since I qualify for NOC 1123, however, if the effort will be futile bec. it's already too late, there's no need to expedite anything.

Well no one can give an accurate idea about whether its late or not, but I am 99.999999999999% sure that NOC 1123 is safe to apply even till the year end ,, its not among the hot NOCs of Accounting and IT, you should go ahead ...

NB: i have a representative ( consultant ) who has his email and info on my application .

should i ask him about the UCI number ? my application was received on July 29

Hello, you can use your UCI number issued on your previous travel application to Canada before. But if you have not applied to travel to Canada before, then you will have to wait for your PER by email which will contain your UCI. Keep checking the email address you gave with your application patiently.

Its a cold NOC.......

U dont need to worry abt the CAP....U will be safe without any issue (abt CAP)...

So just apply....

One question here: I didn't send complete PCCs should I start gathering them now or I m planning to start gathering once I receive the PER.....anyone here had an experience before with London Visa office time lines.....just to be sure on what time I may have before same can be arranged.

file an online RTI to enquire about the status of passport. Your PP will be dispatched soon. one of my friend did this and he got his passport in a week.
this really works, just try to file an RTI.
