Well my card was charged on 17th June , my application was receieved on 7th May... its taking ages to get a PER email and i don know how long will the rest of the process take... pls motivate me :'(

Are you able to see online status in ECAS? I am also 7 may applicant, DD chrged on 23 rd June?

Hello friends,

I have one question, I hope you could help me with that. As we all know that Express entry
Is going to launch soon where they will take 6-8 months while now they take around more than a year. If this is the case then shouldn't we wait for new system.

Please correct me if I may wrong.

Why do you want to wait, who knows what all new requirements they might put in express entry?
Submit your application now, you could still have a chance, its just been 2 months since FSW 2014 has opened & moreover there are 1000 application sub-cap..

Hi Friends,

Currently my documents has gone for assessment, I may get the results in the 1st week of August. Thus, I am planning to get my documents ready so that I can send them as soon as I get the ECA report. However, I am having few doubts and I hope you would help me clearing them.

Below are the questions:

1. I took IELTS exam on nov-2012 which is valied till nov-2014. Can I go ahead using the same results? Though I am reappearing for IELTS on 2nd August, but I dont want to wait for the results and send the package asap. Do they ask for the IELTS result later also if I dont send them with the package?

Yes your IELTS will be remain valid till your processing of application if application will received before Nov,2014.

2. I am due in september, Will it be ok if I dont mention the baby in current scenario as there is no proof of identity. Is it possible that I can add him/her at later stage?

No need to tell at this stage. Tell your VO after baby get birth.

3. For proof of funds, will sending the copy of bank statement would be enough? According to the CIC website, one can show the property also as the proof of funds. Can I show the land's paper which I own for this? Could anyone please confirm, if I interperated it correctly?

No only funds in your Saving Accounts/ Fixed Deposit will be counted for POF.

Your response would be highly appreciated as I am stuck due to these points.

Point 2. If you send/ request Modification for Master's to WES ..... they will put your ECA 'On- hold' status till the review is Completed. CIO will not be able to access your ECA online in the meantime if they pick your Appln for Processing. You have just mentioned May 2014.. and Not exact date of Delivery. Suggest you not to take chance unless you really need those 1/2 extra points

Hi, I have two questions with regard to my application file which was sent to CIC in 2nd week of May 2014. Could you please respond to my below queries.

1. I had submitted my file in May 2014 with passport validity until 14th December 2014.However, the passport is renewed now. My passport number is changed in my renewed passport. What shall I do now? Do I need to resubmit my passport with cover letter?

2. I had submitted WES credential certificate for Bachelors degree. However, at that moment my MASTER's (MBA) degree final certificate/transcript were not received from my university. Hence, I had submitted final WES certificate for Bachelors degree only. I have received my Master's degree final certificate and transcripts now and I would like to upgrade my WES credentials with my Masters (MBA) qualitifcation and resubmit once again to CIC. Is this okey to resubmit upgraded WES certificate to CIC. Kindly advice.

I think outcome of this is largely dependent on your overall profile. From other info such as salary details if they perceive that you're well paid and competent that they may well accept it, and if they doubt legitimacy they may verify details by calling your company's office. However, I do not see this causing an outright rejection. So to answer your question, if you do well in other parts of your application and if your company verifies your details if and when VO calls them then you should be fine.

FSW 2014 will be till Apr 2015.. Express entry might overlap with that

Nope

I did filing through a well know consultancy firm ,and they said they need all that as mail from official mail id of the individuals who are giving reference .Plus, Business Card or xerox of the Company ID Card of those guys .

Ok.. It all depends on the CIC officer handling your case, he may accept that letter as proof of experience.

I need to pay 550 Canadian dollars to CIC. CIC asks to use a CREDIT card. I live in the UK, and it is hard to obtain a credit card for foreigners here. Can I use a cash card (MASTERCARD) or debit card (VISA) instead? I think as long as I have enough preloaded funds, I can use them, but I would like to hear somebody's opinion about it. They say that the application will be returned if the transaction does not go through. Thank you.

My Application was delivered on 8th May , Mode of Payment: DD. Have checked with the bank yesterday and as per them still not charged.
Any idea until when can we have any news on 8th May, DD ?
