One question....
Me n my husband are going to apply..I'm applicant n he is coapplicant...my question is

Do we need to put 2 checklist one for me n one for his...or is it one checklist only..
How do we arrange his documents? First all my documents as per checklist and then his or
should it be together as per checklist?

Hi friends,
Need some guidance. My work experience is split as under:

Company 1- 1 yr
Company 2- 2years months
Company 3-1 year 3 months
GAP - 6 months
Company 4- 1 year 9 months
Company 5- 1 yr
Gap- 3 months
Current company- 1 yr 2 months and continuing...

I wanna know the following:
1. My points for work experience will be 6 yrs + will be 15 points or not..
2. I was not employed in the Gap period.. What to show in the background form.
3. How will the visa officer check unemployment? If he won't would he take it positively or the gap will have a negative impact on my application?
4. Do I need to give some proof of unemployment?

Awaiting revert.
Thanks in advance

Regards
Nitin

Hi nskatcv, Yes this is it. Thanks buddy!!! Excellent!!!

LOL, now please share the trade secret too (and I know Century could reply on this, LMAO). How do you come across such documents? Do you have an application on your machine that directs the machine to stroll on every path and corner of CIC's website to find stuff like these? ;D

Cheers, mate!!! :)

+1 to you

Thanks for the kind words. I guess googling with the right key words is the (open) secret. :)

One checklist should suffice. Documents shall come in the order of the checklist. That is, the second option you gave.

You should have at least 1 yr experience in the primary NOC, the rest could be in any of the others. So yes, you will get 15 points (provided you give the experience letter and all for them, and it was all within the last 10 years).

Gap period is not a negative thing in my opinion. Just write looking for job, or something like that. I am not sure if one needs to submit proofs for that. Sometimes (for altogether other purposes), govts do require people to show whether they have been actively looking for job, through records of applications submitted, etc. Not sure if CIC also wants it. I think they wont.

My IELTS is on 19th July and ECA may get done by Aug 4th. I am an e-commerce/retail architect that can qualify for 2171, 2173 or 2174.
Please let me know what my chances are for each?
Apply for 2171. You will be certainly within cap.

Thanks for elaborating the matter.

would it be fine if i show my cousin's credit card bill payment from this bank account?
No. Cousin cannot give adaptibility points as CIO does not consider them relatives. Why don't you ask you cousin to get a credit card for you aunt, purchase something and pay through your aunt's account.

Thanks dude ... i have updated my details in the spreadsheet now. How much it is taking as per this forum after your the "In process" ECAS status to move to next level...? I guess its the VO people who will do ur background check and then send ur to next level.. any analysis here..?
Current average time between encashment and PER is 14 days and maximum is 24 days. For 7th may, it will go up. See the calculation of period in the sheet named Times of our FSW 2014 Global Spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/edit#gid=1162268121 .

Dear All,

I need your help regarding the issue of my wife Birth certificate. Currently, we don't have her birth certificate. How can i get that from Pakistan ?

My second question is that before our marriage her name was different and same was reflected on her degrees and transcripts. After the marriage her family name was changed so in that case wouldn't there be any issue as her name before marriage in her Birth Certificate and Transcripts.

Different name before marriage is not an issue. You must be having a name change endorsement on her passport, isn't it ? That would work.

Will leave the procedure for getting it from Pakistan to someone who has experience in it.
