Hi all

Urgent Help needed!!

I am applying for myself being primary applicant, my wife and my kid. I have included my wife and kid in generic form and they will accompanying me to canada.
My question is do I have to fill Additional Dependants/Declaration (IM 0008DEP) form?

Thanks

No, you should be fine with the Background declaration form filled for all of you. The form you are asking is only required if you have more than 5 dependents.

OK Guys so just checked my online application status using the UCI I was issued last year. To be honest with you I did it half heartedly as had tried it a number of time in past with the last attempt in the previous week but to my utter surprise it is now showing my application status as "In Process" and when I click on the link it says "We received your application for permanent residence on May 7, 2014."

So I assume good news for me at last and I am still in the chase as if my application was being turned away they would not have updated its online status would they? Seniors Please confirm.

Wow.. Congratulations

Man it is not usable for Immigration purpose. Many people gave tried and their applications returned.

You are wrong! and where are you getting such information that apps have been returned because of using International Debit Cards?

However in all cases, for peace of mind it is wise to avoid Credit /Debit Card , go for the Demand/Bank draft with six months validity.

Thanks.

If you have more than five (5) family members, you must complete the Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) (PDF, 472 KB) form for each additional family member in order to include everyone in your application

Hi

As far as I know the minimum threshold set by the minister for Spouse's language abilities is 4 (for all the abilities)

Check your Reading Score and read the guide again please .

Thanks

Can we provide debit card details for Payment?

Debit Card will not work. Use a Credit card or better still a get a Bank Draft to be 100% sure the funds will go through. All the best

Man i had personal experience. that is what i am saying. 2nd time i gone with DD and got success. Rest you people go with international Debit Cards. It will not hurt me if your applications returns. It is only my advise.
Rest is your's wish. I cant do anything in that.

WOW! I really like that BOLD answer. I actually LOVE it. Sometimes I am blown away by the kind of very basic questions asked here in the forum (and people actually respond to it). I often wondered if it's just me who thinks this way, but looks like it's more than just me who thinks like that!!! Not sure why people need someone else to give the answer that they already know, is that a case of lack of confidence? Is that a personality trait? Can't really call this human nature really? :)

I want to agree with you too, but that would render this forum useless for the most part. I believe almost all questions asked here are already been answered by CIC on their website. In fact the only difference between "seniors" and the newbies is that the seniors have taken time to go through the CIC guidelines more carefully than others.

Having said that, there is nevertheless an element of experience which takes pressure away from most people, when they see someone saying "don't worry, I also did the same way, I got through".

And then of course some tricks of the trade like format of affidavits, letters, where to get them, etc comes handy for people venturing in for the first time.

And of course, some people might not even be that deft at browsing official websites than logging in to chat forums. It could be anything behind a question.

Regards

Hello, my personal experience is different. But I am just sharing information, I also think that DD is the best to way to secure yourself.
I used international debit card VISA with possibility to make payments through Internet.
I was charged 1 week ago without any problem.

ALL THE 2173 APPLICANTS, WHOSE CC/DD HAS BEEN CHARGED/ENCASHED OR HAVE RECEIVED PER MAILS, CAN YOU PLEASE SHARE YOUR JOB DUTIES AS MANY APPLICANTS ARE FACING PROBLEM WITH MATCHING OF JOB DUTIES.

THANKS.
