If you are this late in applying then I guess such questions do arise. The good news, however, is this year there are 1000 seats per NOC and quite a LOT of NOCs eligible for PR (if it was FSW 2013, with only 300 seats per NOC, one could be out of the game already for some NOCs). My take is so far this year about 5,000 applications might have reached CIC till date out of which, if 3 to 5% is the rate of rejection, about 150 to 250 have been sent back (I am making some of these numbers). Also note, that about 1158 people from our forum spread sheet have sent applications so far. And we represent somewhere around 20% of global applicant pool.
Coming to your specific NOC, I believe your's is NOC 1123. Only four completed applicants have been noted by CIC till date, so another good news for you is this NOC is as cold as Canada. Even if you send application by December you would be fine as long as it is a complete application with no major flaws. Good luck!!
