I have few quick queries, please help me

1) My PCC from the city where I'm resident for last 4 years are prepared, However, I wont be able to get PCC for my spouse for now. What you will recommend? Is it necessary to get PCC from the city where I lived before 4 years and spouse's PCC?

2) I dont have credit card, but my brother have one with enough credit lime. Can I give his details & mention my name in the PAYEE name. What will be the implications if I mention my brother's credit card & not mine

3) I have got all experience documents for the category I am applying and Experience points I am targeting. However, do I need to submit the previous employer's document which has different work profile & than the category I am applying now?

4) Need of Documents related to Spouse's work experience, are those required to be submitted just because I am mentioning the work history of Spouse?

5) Passport will expire in September, and suppose if PER is not done by September, are they ask for updated passport or can refuse also?

6) Visitor's visa were refused thrice earlier. How shall we approach in mentioning the details?
1.You can send your wife's PCC later on.
2.Use your brother's card with his details. It won't have absolutely no implication.
3. Try to give some documentation. If nothing available, submit without this. Your file willnot get rejected for this.
4. Wife's experience certificate and educational certificates are not require to submit. However, if you claim points for English proficiciency of your wife, you need to submit her original IELTS.
5. As long as passport is valid, you can submit. Renew it later on.
6. Describe this in question 6 of background declaration. There is enough space there to write details.

It does not matter what you believe. Just believe in your eyes what happend to A-cheng (row 15 of the spreadsheet) when he "stapled forms per form title and some docs but not everything and did not staple to bind it all together.". ;) ;) ;) ;)

@ century

what is the weight of your packet... b'coz processing time may vary accordingly. :p

Somebody has sent a 1.5 kg packet , if you compare it with some poor 250-300 gms Appln (like me).. atleast 2-3 more such Applns can be processed in that much time. 8)
Fedex=0.51 kg (double cost for exceeding .5kg)+8 days expected delivery.{so I get away}
DHL = spot measurement is 0.5 kg. POF documents told 0.47 kg.

This is not true. The caps are updated based on the number of COMPLETE applications CIO receives. A compelete application may not be eligible for processing. Hence the numbers updated do not necessarily reflect those applications wherein PERs have been issued.

Ofcourse they would want them to be organized or in 'sequence' rather (per Doc. Checklist). But Not stapled b'coz they punch hole in all your papers, pass a thread inside them and tie the bunch inside a file cover (made of hardcore paper) ..... the same way it is done in sarkaari office/ documents :)

I think that "Apps by NOC / Cap estimate" should be modified. It seems that 2174 applications for the forum form only 17 percent of the world wide applications. I doubt that even May applicants will be included in the CAP :(
Hi Hopping,
I guess, for your calculations you've used number of PERs received by 2174 applicants by 24th of June.
It's one possible way to calculate it, but there are other ways. I'm not so sure we should count PERs in this case. CIC stops charging applicants as soon as cap is reached, so it's possible that we should use number of charged applications instead.

Specifically, number of 2174 applications charged by 24th of June in the spreadsheet is 35. Official CIC number is 106, which means it's 33% - and it's really close to 31% from the previous year.

There's also another question - what if applications are counted towards caps somewhere in between a fee charge and PER?

For now, based on my observations, I didn't yet find a definitive answer on these questions, so it makes sense not to make any assumptions regarding this unless we know the answer.

Anyway, I trust percents obtained from FSW 2013 statistics more, as they include more applications, and they were calculated after caps were reached, which means time factor is eliminated from calculations and they're not affected by the questions above.

Update:
I've made some more research on FSW 2013 cap behavior and here are the results (part of the credit here goes to FSW13 spreadsheet admins, who had some of these stats already).
As you can see, CIC Reported Cap Full date is really close to last spreadsheet charge date. - Not to last PER, which is so far that using it would cause a really significant error in calculations.

Yes I looked at that so lets say for NOC 2173

Total applicants registered in spreadsheet = 131
Worldwide apps approximation = 470
It means for NOC 2173 27% of the applicants are present in the spreadsheet.

Please correct me if I am wrong. By the way it will be a bonus if I can get an idea how worldwide approximation is taken.
Hi Tab1,
it's the other way around: total worldwide number of apps for a given NOC is calculated from the percentage.

And percentage is taken from FSW 2013 statistics:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aovj20uHVWyzdGFqSGJUOEtVX0h5eWM0cXB5dlAtOEE#gid=50
For NOCs 2171-2173, which were not present in FSW 2013, I've made an assumption that their percentage is around 2174 percentage (they're all IT specialists), so I've just set it to 28% as a more or less safe number. Lower percentage is safer, as it provides an earlier estimated cap full date.

Please see my answer to Hopping for the remaining details.

Thanks in advance.
