Yes should be removed immediately. A page with company logo seems like letterhead to me.

It has been removed immediately.

About the adding logo, in my opinion, it should never be done.

Thanks ashif_eee

"1) Please descibe the reference letter with your NOC on a white A4 paper and get it acknowledged by your supervisor.
For my 1st company - i don't have any contact left, current company- My supervisor will simply refuse to do that.

2) Take a copy of photo I'd (company tag photo id) of your supervisor of your company...get it signed by him on it and do attestation
For my 1st company- I do not have as company took it back from me, current company- Can't get it.

3) Get a service letter from your employee stating you have worked from so and so time with your designation
For my 1st company - i don't have any contact left, current company- My supervisor will simply refuse to do that.

4) provide an affidavit supporting why you are not able to provide the reference letter in company letter head and attach the service letter provided along with this
5) Submit appointment letter (if exists)
Yes, i can provide for both first and current company.
6) Submit Payslip (if exists)
Yes, i can provide for both first and current company.
7) Business card of applicant (if exists)"
Yes, i can provide for both first and current company.

Please advice.

TIA

Brother,

Point 2,3 is optional ....forget about those since u are having with issues...

Check below:

"Reference letters in the required format are necessary, please try your best to get them. If after all efforts you are unable to obtain a work reference letter, then you should provide a solemn declaration / affidavit explaining in detail why are you unable to do so. The officers at the VO are aware of the fact that different employers have different policies towards issuing such adhoc letters and may not cooperate in issuing such a letter. Please do attach all your employment records with the declaration. I was unable to obtain a work reference letter from one of my employers and did the same. However please bear in mind that the final decision rests with the visa officer handling your case."

U can submit below Sample affidavit for the alternate work reference/job description letter:

Sample notarization
Date:

SOLEMN AFFIRMATION

I the undersigned, (principal applicant), residing at ___________________________________, hereby solemnly affirm that from (date) until (date) I was employed by (company name) as (job title).

I worked (number) hours per week and was paid (salary) (weekly, monthly, yearly).

My main duties consisted of (main duties).

Main Duty 1
Main Duty 2
Main Duty 3
Main Duty 4
and so on and so forth.

I am unable to obtain a letter with the job description from my employer because the HR department doesn't provide any such letter with the job duties mentioned on it. The only thing they provide with is an experience letter with the designation and the tenure of the employment mentioned on it, that too at the time of relieving. I have that letter and I shall enclose the notarized copy of the same.

No mate. They are suppose to give update every week. Seems like CIO's week and our week is not same in days. ;) ;) :P :P :P : >:( >:( >:(

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp
Note: Due to the large number of applications we get, we cannot check that each one is complete on the same day it gets to the office. The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week, but are only a guide. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap by the time it gets to the Centralized Intake Office.

Hi,

Just wondering if someone can provide me some sample of self-declaration to attest / disclose the closure of my previous companies?

Do I need to get my ex boss to counter sign on it or get it notarized? What if I couldn't find anyone from my previous company?

Please help

Many thanks!

Hi ,
Reading all the posts I am a bit afraid now .
For the Work ex letter from my company , like many companies my Company do not provide job duties on experience letteI have sent the following things from the company and work ex perspective :-
1. My offer letter
2. A letter from my manager including Job duties.
3. A letter from my former team lead including Job Duties
4. A printout of a mail from my HR stating that they do not provide such letter.
5. My Resume
6. My Increment letter.
7. My Salary stubs (last one year).

I have not sent any business card plus no letter is attested . All are just written on a plain A4 paper with the contact details.

Will these things be enough . I know non of us know except the VO but I am seeking answers from the experienced lads here

Brother,

It seems ur docs have a stronger ground for ur employment...

I hope u will be safe bro.....:)

Hi guys, I am preparing to apply under NOC 1111. However, I am having a hard time obtaining a reference letter from my bosses in our firm.
HR gave me a general document listing the broad functions of my position and out of the 12 listed items, which includes my responsibilities to the firm, responsibilities to clients and responsibilities to develop our services, I think only 2 can be counted toward the NOC qualification.

Those two are as follows:

a. Obtains competent evidential matter to substantiate the fairness of client's financial statements; prepares schedules, summaries and reports based on findings; assists in office functions and on specials assignments.

b. Participates in audit engagements and other firm activities under the supervision of more experienced staff members.

I need your advice, do you think I can qualify under the NOC given the such fact?

My NOC has the following description:

Main duties

Financial auditors perform some or all of the following duties:
Examine and analyze journal and ledger entries, bank statements, inventories, expenditures, tax returns and other accounting and financial records, documents and systems of individuals, departments within organizations, businesses or other establishments to ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards, procedures and internal controls
Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and make recommendations to improve individual or establishment's accounting and management practices
Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements
May supervise other auditors or professionals in charge of accounting within client's establishment.

Till now only a handful applications have been checked by CIC (read this as, mostly May 1st to May 6th received applications having just started on May 7th received applications). I'd suggest waiting for another 10 working days to get a better idea of the answer you are looking for. By then a lot more data points might be available, and I am sure during this time there will be cases where people were unable to send the reference letter on company letter head.

It seems you have shared quite a few documents that one could share in such a condition. Let's wait a few more days though. :)

The best I could do , I did. Collected everything I could. Just hoping all our efforts pay off well .

All the best :)

Thanks a lot! Just to carify, so do I need to get my solemn letter as well as my Employement Certification notarized? So I don't need to get my ex boss to sign on that letter?

I have 3 ex-companies that already shut down ate this point of time, can I use the same format with different reasons?

Thank you very much!
