I used this CIC Contact: 1-888-242-2100 since FEDEX didnt let me send the package without any contact number.

You should call DHL Customer Care and track the delivery of your application.

you mean i should write my address on a piece of paper and include in application package??

You just have to type the address where the communication should happen. As it is told you type the address in bold letters with a bigger font on A4 size make two copies.

Yes this address would be used when they are returning the application, so preferably provide your permanent address where your family can receive cause if we change the address then its difficult to get it and this package contains lot of sensitive/personal information.

You should be fine looking at the current trend... I too had a lot of trouble trying to retrieve my Loomis reference number... My application was received by David on 13th June but my DHL tracker still shows "Forwarded for Delivery"

How did you manage to retrieve your tracking number. Did you called DHL Canada or the DHL office from where you dispatched your application?
I sent my application last week and its status got updated to Forwarded for delivery yesterday...

It would have been delivered by now ...as updating system takes 3-4 hours by almost every courier service provider.

21 points if Bachelor degree is of having 3 years

any degree which is 3+ bachelor will fetch 22 points ..

Post-secondary program credential of three years or longer 21. So 4 years degree will fetch 21.

Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials is for the completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer 22. It means for example if I have one 3-year bachelor degree and another bachelor degree of any duration, it will fetch 22 points.

I have applied as FSW (application reached 7th MAY 2014, still waiting for CIC response) I have a few questions on points calculations:

1. EXPERIENCE: my experience is more than 10 years , but expereince letter i sent were having only my designation, work duration and salary. Job description is not included. Will it effect?

2. IELTS: overall my IELTS score is 7.5 in all 4 categories, i calculated 6+6+6+5=23 as language points , is it corrent way ?

3. My age now is 35 and I will turn to 36 in coming November , what age score I will get , can I get max. points 12 ?, technically speaking I am in 36th year of age but crossed 35 years (born 1978 NOV ) .. confusing right?

4. My degree is bachelors in engineering (4 years) what score I will get 23 or 22 ?

please reply as i am nervous, tense and stressed.

you may want to check on this number.

Hi Mr and Mrs S, this is what I used as consignee number, didn't have a problem. I used DHL and is based in Manila as well, 1-888-242-2100

Hi the UCI number is just a 8 digit number without any alphabets. even if the application was returned last year it will have a UCI number in Generic application Form for Canada 3rd field under the Personal Details section.

If you are sending this time for FSW 2014 you should mention it.

Can you also confirm whether CIC, after stamping the passport with the PR visa, sends that passport to VFS or directly the passport owner? In any case, does CIC send it via regular mail? Earlier, someone was suggestiing the inclusion of a pre-paid courier (Fedex/Ups/DHL) envelope, with the return address written on it, along with the passport so that CIC avoids the regular-mail option.

Regular mail is just too risky.

Now all canadian Visa application----Ur Passports will need to be sent via VFS Dhaka...

This instruction is sent through the Passport request of Singapore...So they are authorized and only medium to send it to Singapore for visa stamping.....

So u have to rely on it!!

on other option is given at all....

UCI number is of 8 digit numeric number

ohh k..my application was rejected due to cap reach..
however in d cover letter in d beginning it is written that cic have completed assessing ur application
and ur rejected because ur not eligible to apply in this category..
but later in the next paragraph it is again written dat ur application was returned due to cap reach..
so im confused now..wat was d exact reason gor my rejection?.?

There are 2 Credentials

1. The HSC (10 + 2) is written as

Canadian Equivalency: Secondary School Diploma
Length: 2 Years

2. The Bachelors is written as

Canadian Equivalency: Bachelors Degree (4 years)
Duration: 4 years

So kindly confirm if it is 21 or 22. The above is exactly what is written in the report
