question for you seniors that have gone through most of the stages or just have knowledge of this process.

I have 2 children below age of 2 years as part of my application. Would they also require a Medical or would it just be the adults?

Also how long is a Medical valid for?

No, infants would not be required to undergo medicals.

Med's are valid for a year.

Guys need some advice.

At the time of landing, can we show the POF in INR currency in the form of bank statements/FD's ?
Or its it must to have the POF in CAD?

Experiences from the people who have already landed will be really helpful.

No, PCC is Security clearance from your country.
Background checks is something a Visa officer initiates only when and if he/she has suspision on docs submitted.

So the background check is not done for everyone???? Its only done when the Visa Officer is suspicious??

Congrats to all of u who received PPR/DM/MR today.

Any one having count of today's PPR? Pls share.

just to add up.. the medical center charges the fees for infants however

As corrected by a fellow forumite, background check as a stage is done for all however detailed background check is triggered when there is cause for suspision on the provided credentials.

I dont think so. You are good to go.
But what harm would a few days more do. Get you PPR and put down you papers.
You are lucky compared to a few of us to have to serve 3 months of notice.

Yes i guess ur good to go..!

Thanks......What kind of background check they do in general?
Background check is done after 2nd Line update and after before MR or after MR?

All the credentials provided are checked. Right from IELTS/WES to Education and Work exp.
99.9% the process is started and completed after the 2nd line and before MR is sent.
Exceptions make up the .01%.
