It is not incorrect information. If you read that person's post and MR request mail, they have not asked for Saudi PCC then why people advise him to provide Saudi PCC. They will ask if they need.
Shah,
Even if CIC / VO has not specifically asked for the Saudi PCC, it may be because they do not know the applicant has stayed in Saudi, some time in the past, before 10 years, as the travel info they ask in the application is only for last 10 years.
But PCC is specifically asked for all foreign stay (other than Canada) more than 6 months, since the age of 18. If applicant doesn't submit PCC now, it may cause problem later, maybe even after becoming a PR. Why take chances ? Best to be transparent and provide all that is asked for.

Does the physically handicapped spouse require ongoing medical care specifically to address the handicap? If so, after the medicals the VO will determine whether the cost to care for the spouse will exceed the average per capita spending on health care in Canada. If it does, the application is likely to be rejected but before they do that they will inform you in a fairness letter and you will have a chance to show that the spouse will not be an excessive burden on Canada's health care resources. You can also appeal rejections made on this ground.

There is also the issue of establishing oneself economically in Canada. If the officer thinks the handicap may prevent the family from establishing itself economically in Canada this may be a basis for rejection. Again, you would receive a letter stating this concern and allowing you time to respond.

Good luck.

Thanks for reply ..spouse is well educated with post graduation and able to maintain herself well...Cannot be burden to canada ..

Thanks

Future,
If the handicapped person is a dependent, then it isn't required for him / her to be financially stable or economically establish himself / herself.
If the handicap is permanent handicap like loss of hand or leg, it really shouldn't matter as there is no monthly expense per say on the handicap. It is a permanent disability but no further expenses.
Canada does not discriminate between handicapped and healthy people..

Ok friend. You are correct. I am just giving my opinion based on my experience. They have not asked PCC for the stay before 2004. Its on applicant to provide it or not. but generally they will ask in MR mail only if they need any documents. CIC must have given deadline to submit PCC. better to submit india PCC as of now.

They didn't ask for it because they don't know the person lived in Saudi. If they knew, they would ask for it.

They DID ask for it, just indirectly. The MR e-mail said ANY country where you have lived for 6 months since age 18. What is so hard to understand about that sentence? It is not a matter of opinion it is a matter of fact.

LOL @ what a consultant told him. Consultants are horrible. Read this thread from the beginning you will read one horror story after another about consultants who cost their clients the chance at PR because they didn't know what they were doing.

Yes you're right. Only if the handicap requires ongoing medical expense.

Shah, this is a friendly argument. I might be wrong, but tell me why will CIC / VO ask for the PCC if they do not know you have traveled to Saudi before. How are they supposssed to know if you have not disclosed info greater than 10 years ? In that case does it not become the applicants responsibility to provide the PCC since the age of 18 years for foreign stay greater than 6 months ? If not provided, wont it lead to non disclosure of facts ?

I agree to your point buddy. by the way my information was neither incorrect nor dangerous. I just expressed my opinion based on his MR mail request. As they have specifically asked India PCC.

Thank you for your comments future_canadian, rvp_deltario & Goku!!

I will reach out to the center and confirm if they can use the application number in place of the UCI# and conduct the tests. Will keep the forum posted if anything changes

That's news, good to know that info.
FSW_Applicant you have heard it from the horses mouth, so you can get the meds done.
May I recomend that you locate the specific center your wife will go to and call them up priorto apprise them of the scenario just to be doubly sure.
