Dear Friends,

I have got the PCC from Passport Seva kendra and for my wife I have got it from Local Police station(Singned by SSP).
Can I provide this combination of PCCs or should I also make one PCC from local Police station for safer side?

Please share your views.
Hi Ranjit,

PCC from PSK should be good enough. I had submitted the same and have received my MR.
Hope this helps. Cheers!

hi Rebell,

Abu Dhabi CHC does not process FSWP files, they only stamp the visa once PR is issued.

Hi All,

Received MR last week!
Have to pay my RPRF (For me and Spouse) 490 + 490 and new born Fees -150. Shall I make a single DD of 1130$ or shud I make two separate DD's of 980 and 150.

Please provide your insight :)
Thanks

Why do you want to pay extra ? there are no RPRF charges for minors. So you need to make a DD for CAD 980 only.

In case you have excess money and want to dispose it, you can send it to my account. lol ;D ;D ;D

Edit : The CAD 150 will be initial PR fees. My mistake. So I wont get the CAD 150 :(

Different format PCCs are ok as long as they are valid.

It doesn't matter. They just need PCC, format is not an issue with them.

I agree to the link but generally they will ask PCC for last years stay and they will clearly mention that in MR mail if they need it. By saying specifically for which country. Even I stayed in different countries before 2004 and they have not asked. Better to provide info what they asked. Not to provide unnecessary info.
You are WRONG and you are ENDANGERING someone's application.

It is VERY CLEARLY STATED in several places INCLUDING the PCC request e-mail and the document checklist and on CIC's web site that an applicant must provide PCCs for ALL countries lived in for 6 months or more SINCE AGE 18. It could not be more clear. Just because it's not within the past 10 years and they don't know about it in order to ask for it does NOT mean that you don't need to provide it. It is the applicant's responsibility to provide all documents required in the application even if the VO does not ask for it specifically.

Just because it's not within the past 10 years don't think that CIC can't find out that you lived somewhere. They do extensive background and security checks. If they see that someone lived in Saudi for 4 years more than 10 years ago and didn't provide the PCC that will be trouble. Failure to provide a PCC would be considered a misrepresentation which is a guaranteed rejection. Are you comfortable taking that risk? Maybe you are but don't encourage someone else to take that risk without even knowing it by giving the wrong answer to their question.

-1 for dangerous and incorrect information.

It is not incorrect information. If you read that person's post and MR request mail, they have not asked for Saudi PCC then why people advise him to provide Saudi PCC. They will ask if they need. As per him even his consultant said the same thing. it is my opinion and that is on person to accept it or not. Its better to ask and raise CSE if they need PCC for other country or not.

Canada does not discriminate between fit and physically handicapped people.
Doesn't come in the way of PR.

Does the physically handicapped spouse require ongoing medical care specifically to address the handicap? If so, after the medicals the VO will determine whether the cost to care for the spouse will exceed the average per capita spending on health care in Canada. If it does, the application is likely to be rejected but before they do that they will inform you in a fairness letter and you will have a chance to show that the spouse will not be an excessive burden on Canada's health care resources. You can also appeal rejections made on this ground.

There is also the issue of establishing oneself economically in Canada. If the officer thinks the handicap may prevent the family from establishing itself economically in Canada this may be a basis for rejection. Again, you would receive a letter stating this concern and allowing you time to respond.

Good luck.
