I got my Medical request on 31st Oct
I had for the mediclas on 28th Oct( yes its wierd)
I submitted my Police clearance on 12th Dec
Medicals from Panel were submitted on 6th Jan 2015( this took time as there was a issue in Chest X-Ray) but was rules out TB.
Decision Made on 3rd Feb or 4th Feb

No need to worry buddy... Your PPR will reach your inbox...

Congrats, that was really fast and it gives us hope. But I guess there are some older applicants who have not received PPR till now..

Passport received with VISA along with COPR.

February 2, 2015 - Ottawa -Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander today announced that the first round of top-ranked candidates from Canada's Express Entry system is already helping to fill demonstrated and verifiable gaps in Canada's labour market.

On Saturday, January 31, 779 skilled workers, including professionals in natural and applied sciences, and industrial, electrical and construction trades, were invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada. Each of these candidates declared that they already have a valid job offer or provincial nomination.


Under Express Entry, skilled workers who want to apply to Canada's key economic immigration programs are able to create an online profile and express their interest in coming to Canada permanently.

Candidates who are accepted into the pool are ranked according to various factors, including language proficiency, education and work experience. Each is a leading indicator of one's likelihood of integrating fully and quickly into Canadian society and making an optimal contribution to the economy.

Canada will regularly invite the highest-ranking candidates from the pool to apply to immigrate. With most applications being processed in six months or less, candidates will be able to contribute to Canada's economy and job market more quickly than ever before.

It seems the candidates having points around 286 out of 600 had been selected. The only difference is the Valid Job Offer which has weight of 600 points alone makes there points 886 and above.

What is the number of people that they select in every draw and how many draws will they do every year?

Hi seniors,

I am maintaining Settlement Funds as per CIC requirement. As I received PER e-mail yesterday.

Need your advice on the following

1. Do I need to maintain settlement funds till Visa Stamping?
2. If yes Can I partially use settlement funds (approx 50% of total required settlement funds) and re-deposit in my bank if they request in future?
3. What is next steps of CIC and How long will it take till visa stamping after PER.

Visa Office - NDVO
Appl Reached - 13th November 2014
CC Charged - 14th January 2015
PER Received - 3rd February 2015

I had ordered GCMS for my wifes application.. I received it today.. It says Criminality checks not even started yet.. Medical passed.. RPRF encashed PCC received ... but Criminality check not started..
