Dear Friends,

I'm happy to report that I now have the Canadian visa on my passport

Now that I have your attention, let me elaborate before you jump at a July applicant claiming to have the visa

I have received a student visa and will be travelling to Canada in the first week of March. My PR application still remains in process. I'm done with medicals and am waiting for the eventual PPR. I will ofcourse stay glued to this forum and will report on my experience in Canada.

Happy to announce that I have just received PPR Alhumdulillah. ECAS still says In Progress.
Something to note: My case was handled by NDVO but when I sent them my documents (MR / PCC etc) i also requested them if i can have my stamping done at LVO as I am in UK and will be here from some time. I had also raised a CSE for the same. They did not respond but the PPR email does say that I need to submit the passports to LVO.

Hello All
I had left my job recently . Just wanted to know does this impact my application. I have valid experience of my NOC for 7 yrs.
When should I inform Vo abt this. Once I got my MR. Or before.

I got my per on 29th Oct. Nothing after that.

Any suggestions pls.

I informed my local VO recently. I have only 1st line, still wait for 2nd. They confirmed my info and that's all for now. So u should do the same I guess...

U know wat u have to do which is only the last option available...U have to travel back to India and provide ur passport via VFS..then hope it comes back to u within a week/ max. two weeks...It'd be expensive and u wud hav to arrange leaves from work etc....but u wud have ur PR Visa....its worth it right?.. i'd advise start preparing for this eventuality if NDVO doesn't reply in a few days...

1) Wait for NVDO reply
2) Send passport via friend (without waiting for a reply from NVDO)
3) Travel back to India (after waiting two more days)

Btw do you know the timeline when is passport back from stamping?

Dear Friends,

I have applied from Saudi Arabia under NOC 2132 (8years Exp) PER 20-Nov-14. My medical is not yet done.

Now i have job offer from Abu Dhabi & i have resident visa from UAE also.

My question is if i change my job at this time & go back to abu dhabi then it will affect my visa application or there will be no problem ?

In my opinion, changing job now might delay the process. Logically, VO does BG checks before it sends MR. So lets say, you change jobs and inform the VO, then there is one one employer they will have to check there by delaying the process.So to me, changing jobs while waiting for MR is not wise.

I already did what you said. Still I am not hearing from them.

My problem is i have received PPR and I am out of india. Can you suggest what shall I do?

Come to India and get visa stamp in 15 day I think submit passport to vfs for faster service

If you don't want to loose this opportunity this is best option for now or you can send enquiry to NDVO and they will direct you for further processing

Thus might take long don't know. ...best luck. ...

By the way I am also waiting for PPR. ...

Hey everyone !!!!!!

Just received our MR !!! Our second line updated today morning! Wasn't expecting MR so soon!!
Having said that , it took 90 days for MR to come after PER!!
Had aged by 10 years in last few months!! ;D ;D

All the best to everyone!! it's just a matter of time!! Everyone would get their MR/ PPR eventually !!!!!
