Would anyone please advise if the PCC request and medical request have the same timelines. If I ask for PCC extension, would that also mean MR extension. My concern is that in case I have to re apply for FBI PCC, my visa validity would be shortened because I would have already done the medicals.

No, PCC extension does not mean MR extension. The only situation where you get MR extension is if one gets pregnant and is medically unable to complete the medicals.

Hey thanks for the reply, so i will have to do UME first and when the child is added i will need to send the pcc and rprf?? How long did you wait before ur child got added to ur application??

My daughter was like almost 1.5 months old when I got uci number /PER for my application so at about 2 months I sent them an email .got response for documents to add her
But our MR didn't have Her so we did UME for her and on jan 12 my MR including her UME results , RPRF and newborn physical docs with fees to add newborn reached them

I had a couple of questions regarding the MR/PCC process...
I received my MR/PCC request on 16th Jan
(NOC: 2171, App Date: 31 July, NDVO)

1. The mail states that I need to get PCC from every state in India that I lived (>6 mths) in after 18 ....This seems like a really impossible task. Can I send my current location's PCC? Other ppl who have done this please help.

2. We are expecting a baby pretty soon. We mentioned the same when we went for our Medicals. I guess I still need to state it explicitly when I send my MR and PCC details. My question is: Should I attach doctor's certificates with my correspondence? What other documents do I need to send to support my case?

Can you please thro some info @ your app....

Do you have any International travel mentioned in ur forms?
How many companies did you worked?
What proof did you showed as POF?

This info will help us to understand reason of not updating 2nd line and medicals..pattern of NDVO...I am also tenssed...

I had Applied for FSW NOC Category: ELECTRICALS & ELECTRONIC ENGINEER-2241.CIC had received My Application on Sep 26th.
Afer that i couldn't able to got any communication from CIC. I Inquired the Bank and the DD was not encashed.
Someone please guide me to get in touch with CIC.

Need your help with answer to below question.

NDVO, NOC 2171, application date 3rd July, PER 28th Oct but no 2nd line update and no MR yet.
In the last 5 years, I worked in Switzerland and Netherlands, studied in the UK.
I listed about 12 different addresses in my application form for the last 10 years.

My case would have gone for CSIS background verification I suppose.
Swiss and NL authorities are very very slow in responding and I expect them to take multiple months to respond to any queries made by CSIS.
For example, I got my PCC's from these countries after 3 months of applyging.

I am thinking of requesting GCMS notes but the question I have for which I would like to request your answer is this:
Should I do an upfront medicals and send medical results and all PCCs I have obtained from the 3 countries and India to NDVO in advance of receiving MR?
Will such action result in speeding up my application processing?

today our consultant sent us a reqest for pcc and to issue my child a separate passport , updated schedule A from the canadian embassy in romania , we applied in sep 11 , per in 30 dec , no 2nd line update till now on the web site , also the embassy gave us a deadline to submit papers in 60 days , any one with the same scenario ??? seniors plz ur openion on this ?? when r we supposed to go through medicals ?? :-\ :-\

Its been about 2.5 months now- waiting for PPR and there's no any update after the third line update on 20th Nov.
14th May Applicant, Medicals update on 20th Nov.
DD is valid only for 3 months i guess..
Such a Painful wait....

I am 28th May applicant from NDVO..Our processing getting delayed because of FBI PCC.Hopeful to submit FBI PCC by feb end.
I expect PPR should come in Apr/May.... We will be U.S that time ... How should I submit passport ? Is it possible to submit in Canadian embassy in U.S or some other mean.

I am looking for a response for question at the earliest please:

For PCC, I see that CIC is asking as below:

"Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for Principal Applicant and Spouse."

I am from India, does this mean, I shall get PCC from all the places in India where I stayed/ Lived more than 6 months? I stayed in several places for Work.... Please guide me in this regard... thanks for your help in advance!
