Experts I think NDVO has missed 7th July date as I can see applicants getting update after that and before that not 7th July........... Any active member of 7th July has got further request from NDVO for MR..... PLEASE RESPOND................

Hi All,

I came to know recently that for applying PP for new born baby in India, spouse name should be endorsed in the PP. But neither my husband nor me has the name endorsed in the PP. I have the below queries

1. Both me and my husband shd have the spouse name endorsed in PP OR if any of us has the spouse name endorsed in PP is it enough?
2. Should we need to submit my PP to the PSK @ India ? How ;ong will take if i apply via tatkal ?
3. Will this addition of spouse in PP , change my PP number?
4. Will my Old PP get cancelled and they will issue a new one?
5. Shd I inform CIC or NDVO regarding my change in PP details ? (Current status - CC charged and waiting for PER)

Hi Viji,
Name of either parent should be endorsed in the PP, they do it manually for Electronic PP, which means they write it in hand on any page & put a stamp stating "refer page.... for endorsement"

I don't follow CIO processing closely now, but keep in mind that banks almost never have accurate information on DD encashment.

Im in need of help, We have got the Passport submission request from New Delhi canadian immigration office ( through which we have applied the PR).

Our family is currently in Singapore, and we will stay here for minimum 4 months.

Can you advise the best way to send the passport? Is it possible that we can complete the process in
Singapore visa office or we need to approach only Delhi office.

Incase of delhi office ( we need to send it through some person , have some risk involved).

But would like to know the best option from the Seniors.

i can now see the second line update on ecas,
"We started processing your application on January 7, 2015."

Although, i was asked for the additional documents and i sent the same to LVO on 3 Dec '14, but still they started processing after one month??
is it normal? and whats would be next now?

Ideally, have your spouse fly to Delhi for stamping if you want fastest service. Otherwise raise CSE with NDVO requesting visa issuance at SGVO, but keep in mind that they might reject it.
