My app was dispatched by my consultant on 4th October 2014. I don't exactly know when was it received at CIO in Canada but I can assume it wouldn't have taken longer than 10 days at maximum. My CC has not been charged for any fee so far and there's no info available on CIC website either regarding the number of apps they have counted in my category. Any suggestion about how to check my app status?

Hold on. Charging can happen anytime now.

Anyone received PPR from CIC ottawa recently?
Usually how many days/time will they give us to submit passport?
How long will they take to give us the passport back with visa stamp?

Hi Everyone!

I just checked through my old UCI and the status is in process. and when I click it,

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 26, 2014.

How long will it take to have PER? kindly suggest....

Gap between Charging and PER has increased lately. It can be as much as 1 month or more.

buddy relax about ur wife.....forget it.

now the main concern is that u hide ur visa rejection.......u must be worried about that, write a cover letter to cio and give the details of ur US visa rejection along document copies if u have. it wont gona cuase any negative effect on ur app but u must not hide anything about urself as u r the primary applicant.

Thank you very much.
Yes I will update soon.
Ok you mean that I don't need to say anything about my wife in cover letter.
Cheers

buddy total score is 1200 for EE........wont u think 350 gona be too less against 1200 to go through? I know out of 600 for nomination or job offer......it is 0 but again it will be checked against 1200.

CiC's goal is to bring in around 250,000 new immigrants for 2015. Let's just say half of those are from 2014 applications, how do you think they will find 150,000 immigrants with job offers and provincial nominations?

someone is deleting our comments.....

there is this guy names RAMJIJI who wrote some harsh and rude things about Canol's post of November 12, 2014.

I replied him........on page no. 11675, now when I m checking that page.......my reply has been deleted.......its not there.

even the post of RAMJIJI in which he said rude things against CANOL is also deleted. ok that logical and understandable but why my post? I was defending my mate.

so I guess defending a good forum member is not acceptable by the moderators and the admin? how can its ok that someone abuse someone else and that remains posted on the forum pages...........and when someone tries to defend their respected forum mates then those posts are deleted?

this behavior by the moderators and admins are a real shameful act! I guess this post will be deleted also.

Yes, you are right. But though it is NOC independent, I don't think if 2000 applications are filed from 2174 and all of them are qualified and received more points than NOC 0111 (exg - my NOC), all of them will gonna selected over 0111. They also need 0111 people. So there got to be subcategory. This is why applicant also has to select NOC. Though there is no CAP, it got to be market demand driven.

CanOl said:

I shared that view, but I changed my mind because of a few things:

- There are over 200 NOCs eligible for Express Entry; Would they, for each draw, specify and individual CAP? Could you imagine how impractical that would be? 13 spots for 0013, 17 spots for 0014, ....

- If you think about large numbers, what's the probability of every single applicant to be of a specific NOC? It is more likely that applicants with high marks are spread across several NOCs.

They may realize on further draws that a few NOCs are taking too many spots and limit the applicants. But.. that's not going to happen on the first few draws IMHO.

see buddy its a game of wordings....they have a goal......they haven't promised to bring that much immigrants......its just a goal......anything can happen.......they can say they had a goal but wasn't achieved.........like for fswp2014 the goal was for max 25000 apps......but till last update they only had received less than 12000 apps.........so this can also happens..........its just a goal. nothing is guaranteed and nothing is promised here.

You should mention your wife's visa refusal as well. If the dependent become inadmissible for misrepresentation, everybody including principal applicant become inadmissible.
