Let me first of all appreciate the incredible work put in by you folks - the assistance and guidance the core members have provided - it is an amazing display of courtesy and probably a bonding for years to come

I have been following the group for a while. However, today decided to update my info on the SS and wanted to ask a few questions.

Application date - 7th July 2014
Applied from Dubai, UAE
CC payment on - 21st Oct
PER received on - 16th NOV.
No AOR received and ECAS status still shows: Application received on 4th July...
Waiting for the next steps ...
VO is London
NOC is 2171

Questions that may be relevant to others as well:

1 - Is there any activity on processing files in London VO during December due to Christmas / New Year or it will start early next year?

2 - PCC were sent to Sydney, CIC office later on, between CC debit date and PER email date - PER email states file will be moved to LVO. Question is, will the PCC be sent automatically? Also, the PCC were received by CIO within the normal 6 month time frame. However, if the LVO processes my file after 2 months, this may expire! Your thoughts?

3 - At the time of application, one of my son was under 18 years. Now he has crossed the age. Do i have to update any document or inform CIO?

1st of all congrats for upcoming good news.

2nd inform ur VO that u r expecting a baby and ur wife cant go under medicals.

3rd u can do the medicals.

4th u can pay ur rprf now, dependents under 18 years of age are not charged for rprf, u don't have to pay rprf for ur upcoming kid.

5th u will need to make official Birth certificate for ur baby from hospital, ask them to give it in English to avoid the hassle of translation and attestation, if your country issues any official government BC then also make that one and try to get it in English as well. apply for ur kid's passport asap and all other ID docs what ever u can make in your country like ID card or anything that is made for babies (cos normally ID cards are made when they cross 18 year of age).

6th ur VO will again issues u medicals for ur wife and kid and will ask u to submit the docs for ur baby.

7th ur case gona delay at least for next 4 months on avg.

8th people are normally advised to plan family as soon as they decide to apply for immigration and have kids once they enter Canada to avoid hassles in getting immigration. as babies are born Canadians and they don't need to get stuck and cause delay in immigration process.

i have applied under the NOC 0111 on june 2014.my documents has received by CIC on 26th o june and i have received my file number on 23/10/2014 and my AOR on 05/11/2014 but after that nothing happened.my statue on CIC is in process and the only thing that i can see there is a line which indicate that we have received your application on 26th of June.while all of my friends who have applied at the same time with me have received their medical request already and its making me so worry.so is anybody same like me?or somebody who can give me a recommendation about this.please help me

Hi TargetC,

It depends which all country's PCC you would have to acquire. If you want it from India, and are staying at the same address as is on your passport. Then you will get it immediately at PSK. Otherwise it would take some time for police verification before issuing PCC. Moreover you have just received the PER, so you have enough time to go through the PSK (for India)...
Its just Rs 500...i will suggest go for it ...

No suggestions are needed before medical...

just be calm and relax.

All r normal tests like blood, urine, x-ray, consultancy, eye-test etc...

You dont need to attach photos at all.. on the reception counter concern person wll do all the formalities.

just provide him all the documents he/she needs.

just be calm and relax.

there will no FSWP after December 31 2014, u will have to apply for EE in 2015 and u will have to have a valid job offer from Canadian employer as well as having 67 points, without either of them, u cant immigrate.

Hi dude, for Express Entry there is no need to have a job offer from Canadian Employer.

If 10th certificate has candidate name, DoB, father/mother name, it should suffice. However, sending an affidavit from respective parents of both of you will be a safe bet. Approach any notary official and he can provide you one. Any format will do and should be signed by both mother and father. Good luck!

I wasn’t having the birth certificate, so I submitted original copy of affidavit copy attested by a local advocate on 50 rupee stamp page but note: I haven’t signed this letter.
Also I have submitted copy of pan card along with SSC certificate & India driving license dealing my DOB.
Now my question is without signing the affidavit myself will not make a reason of rejection

As per the stats, I understand Indians are the highest contributors in this forum. But not sure globally.. There might be applications from other VOs who are not part of this forum..
