Good suggestion.......it will help strengthen those that are in difficult situations & give directions to new incoming group members.....the Indian, Lebanese, Philippine Arabs have a strong bond in Calgary and anywhere u come across them....

Hi all,

We relocated to Calgary and have since settled in. Been busy adjusting to life with a new 3 weeks old baby as wifey just delivered. For naija I be pro when it comes to driving as I don dey drive for years. In fact, my wife calls me a GPS. No place for Lag wey I no Know. But for Canada, I failed computer driving test like 3 times and road test like 4 times before finally passing and getting my class 5 drivers license LOL.
Canadians have really done well for themselves as they have put so much in place in terms of infrastructure to support their life style and economy. I really don't know how but so many things in the public sector of the society works. So for all those still waiting for one form of update or another, the place make sense sha, so just keep doing what you do and keep the faith. A billion thanks to Pipi's HB for creating this forum and still keeping in touch in spite of the demands of time in this new environment. Many thanks too to Neyobash for ensuring our correspondence easily gets to and from Accra VO. It will be good if we keep a forum for all those who just landed so we can further build on the progress we have made and also learn from landed seniors who arrive before us. I see a lot of collabo with the Chinese and Philipinos and wish we could have some strong association too for naija professionals. A billion thanks to you all for your support and all who responded to my questions. Thanks once again!!!!

Okurin-ewa (Tenmen), congrats on your new baby and relocation. I truly understand, I too failed the G1 drive test when I attempted it, guess I underestimated it but made it the second time. Also the way the Chinese, Indians, Sikh and all others collab amongst themselves here, is amazing. I support your idea of genuine members networking. I have created a forum for landed 9jas 2014 to date - Landed Immigrants from Nigeria - Let's network here . Let's meet there to share ideas genuinely in Unity and Trust on how we can progress in this great Country - Canada. I believe God will help us.

I am an August applicant as well. Request for additional docs related to yours with the exception of office pictures were made in August by AVO and since then nothing acme forth

I ordered for GCMS and addressed what I discovered as error in it. Its good you apply for GCMS to have some level of comfort.

@ Pastor Daniels story, that is serious. .. I am an Aug applicant still waiting for medicals. I last got a correspondence from AVO last year July requesting for POF, SALARY PAYMENT STATEMENT OF ACCT, PICTURES OF THE OFFICE etc which were all provided.

Lets just be hopeful and positive in what God has started, we will hear good news soon.

Just using my case to encourage all those stating they are Dec. All is well.

Isnt it funny? I still read on thier web yesterday that processing time is 19 months if you applied after 2010. Really, the processing time for some applicants in FSW 2014 was within 12 months. God will have mercy and repeal all policy working against FSW 2014 in CIC Canada/AVO

I just believe they made the processing of apps after 2015 12months so they will be able to clear 2014 backlogs between now and dec 31.
IRCC wont sanction 2014 applications to be carried over to 2017.

This is my take...and please lets stay positive till the end

I think this tweet is for citizens applications not PR. CIC still has us in mind and I believe very soon updates will start rushing in

Dear House, I beg I have not forgotten you all o, I have don my homework properly - reading from Pages 1780 to 1790. Congrats to all who have landed and thank God for His favors. For everyone still expectant, pls be encouraged, don't give up. If your medical expires with FSW and AVO did not contact you, go the express entry route. Canada needs U.

We have fully settled in and the kids are in school enjoying every bit of relocation. Thanks PH and everyone for the encouragements and support received, yours will surely end in praise. Remain focused.
