I called the customer service every single day, and they kept telling it will be done the next day. Until I got tired and went there, only for them to tell me AVO had not released my passports. Of course I knew It was a lie because I got a pick-up e-mail from AVO and I know this our AVO does not make such mistakes.
So I went back to my office and escalated with a strongly worded letter ( a stinker actually) through my lawyer directed to the MD of the Nigerian office and the Country manager. Before I knew it, e-mails and phone calls were flying in from all angles and of course they have duly picked up my package from AVO. So guys, my candid opinion is that PPR guys should go through UPS ( in my opinion) where one of our very own @Neyobash can help keep an eye on things.
This is the standard naija way and of course we continue to stay prayerful even after PPR. May God continue to give us wisdom. My 2 cents.

I have repeated this several times that anything that has to do with supply chain/logistics has lots of risk involved.
I know when most of us received our pick up mail where AVO stated DHL, its just their opinion. You can use FedEx or UPS too.
However, what I have done so far for the UPS staff in charge of pick up is to let her know, whenever I direct anybody to her desk for passport pick up, that person should be given a VVIP treatment. And those that have used UPS can testify to this. I always ensure I am in copy of the mail exchange with our UPS office in Accra from start to finish. So the UPS staff has a detailed understanding of what everybody has gone through before getting to this stage.
Also, initiate your pick up very early during Am operations i.e. just resume with the courier company of your choice by 8am. By doing this, you have high chances of having your passport picked amongst those scheduled for that day. if you initiate pick up in the afternoon, automatically, it will be picked up the next day. And please from pick up to delivery timeline is like 3-5 working days.
