Dear forumite, it has been months of suspense. On this forum all had prayed and some had fasted but few had acted. I believe in work and pray. Something had been going on in my mind since this new government came in and it has to do with how to alert them of what has been happening especially at our visa office. We can not continue to pray and fast without putting our faith into action. My brothers and Sisters, I think it is high time for us to act by sending letters through emails (minister@cic.gc.ca) to the new immigration minister informing him what our concerns are with our Visa office. We shouldnt fold our arms and expect update when it is so clear that something is about to happen. Exactly in 2012 when I was on queue since 2007 waiting for update, No update until it was concelled and application fees returned, it affected a lot of applicants and we did noting. We shouldn't wait until same is melted to us now, lets cry out collectively so they can feel our impulse and act accordingly. I wouldn't have felt this way if not what I heard from two of my Canadian friends visiting Abuja this weekend and only ask them if they have any regret ever migrated to Canada. The answer were the same even though I asked them at different times. Their answers were they wished they had gone earlier. You can imagine if I had been in Canada since 2008. It's time to put our faith to action. We should not fear to send mail, these people are different from us, they dont reason the way we reason infact we should even expect response from the minister, you can not be intimidated nor will it affect your application.
