Hi all, congrats to all those with one update or the other and all the best to those expecting their updates, I just want to inform the house I got reply for mail I sent to CIO-sydney-search-enquiry today 11th dec 2014, I sent the mail on the 21st Oct 2014, though I got my per already, just to inform those interested in knowing which date CIO is replying cheers

Hi Mrs L, it's perfectly within your rights to ask the consultant the specific reason why you are required to fill these forms and provide the listed items with $150.

When you are clear on the reasons for the above, you may take an informed decision.

I had a baby less than a week before we submitted our forms so i understand the additional family form. Also, we are among the group of applicants who unintentionally did not indicate the visa refusals so i understand the background declaration form as well. Nonetheless, there is a missing link somewhere. I am going to find out ASAP

No issues...
One of the instructions given in your PER email to contact your local visa office is change of Job status.
Once you resign and resume in another job...you will need to contact local visa office by CSE and/or email.
You will need to present your resignation letter,acceptance of resignation from your previous company,employment letter in your new company and possibly payslips in your new company and old company.
You will need to notify and present the aforementioned documents for the local visa office records.

I appreciate your response, however in this case am actually going into private consulting on my own. So wouldnt have a formal employment letter, except of course I write one on my letterhead stating the relevant information.

Your views would be appreciated.

I want to believe your file has been transferred to your local visa office already as that is only when the process above can be initiated/done.
This simply means you have been charged/debited via your CC or DD.
Realistically,only two forms needs to be updated when adding your new born.
*The generic form (IMM0008ENU_2D)
*The additional family information form(IMM5406E).
Moreso,at this level (if you are dealing with Accra Visa office,I'll rather prefer you make your drafts in USD and not CAD because of the bank's conversion charge.$140 is an equivalent of 150CAD from Accra website.

There is a landed naija's thread on the forum I think we can leverage on, atleast they have been on ground for years and might be willing to extend their wealth of experience. I think if we ask they might help, no harm in asking really that is if you havent already done so.
