I am an accountant and fellow accountants on this forum have reported that WES evaluated their ACCA qualifications accordingly. ACCA qualification can also be obtained from university if you select the ACCA stream together with a first degree like Oxford Brookes of UK for example.

@ Missvenus, send in the ACCA certification with your degree. If it is not evaluated, you lose nothing. Cheers.

I submitted my ND, Oxford Bookes, ACCA and ACA to ICAS for evaluation. Oxford Bookes and my local school sent transcript to ICAS and was received. I was shocked when i got my report with a letter attached telling me that the body only evaluated my ND. I was told they dont evaluate professional bodies certificates and my oxford brookes transcript only showed that i completed 14 units as against the 365 units.

The above assertion regarding the degree transcript was wrong because what is on the document is 14 courses and not units. I didnt bother to disturb my head about them thuo because to even get the report out from ICAS took close to four months. So why bother...........#Godpassthem#

If you are submitting Docs like mine, try to get the professional bodies to send transcript to them. I just realised bodies like ACCA send out transcript if you request for it. Moreso, please use alternative evaluation bodies to avoid unnecessary delay and trouble. Mine was a drama......

So sorry about your experience with ICAS. The examples I referred to were from applicants who used WES. I hope you were able to get enough points to qualify you for FSW 2014.

I NEED URGENT HELP
Is there any Diploma nurse (FROM SCHOOL OF NURSING) in this forum who did (or anybody you know) his/her Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) with ICAS or UoT (CES)?
Please urgently contact me inbox and let me know what your ECA report reads on your credential's Canadian Equivalence.
Let me see if I can apply to either of them to get another ECA report.

WES issued my ECA report and the Canadian Equivalence reads'' Three years of hospital study and training" instead of ''Three year diploma in Nursing" which is alien to any Canadian educational qualification . I have appealed to them for correction but unfortunately they have blatantly refused.

Thanks

Hello everyone, just to encourage those yet to send in their FSW1 application to do so ASAP. The current stream ends 31st December 2014 and not 30th April 2015 as earlier thought.

Hi Rastaman, actually the consultant's opinion does not override the Ministerial instruction that announced FSW 2014 which was gazetted as can be seen below;

http://gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p1/2014/2014-04-26/html/notice-avis-eng.php

See this extract from the gazette,

A maximum of 25 500 new complete applications submitted for the Federal Skilled Worker Class, without an offer of arranged employment, will be considered for processing for the period of May 1, 2014, to April 30, 2015, unless otherwise indicated in a future Ministerial Instruction.

So until a further Ministerial Instruction is received, the cap of 25,000 or date of April 30, 2015 remains in force. Cheers all :)

Guys, how una dey, its been a while but trust me ive been here always, just quiet. :)
Glad to announce that 3 people from 2013 Accra Forum just announced passport request less than 2 months after there MR.

What does it mean to us, faster processing, infact im dancing here, who's joining me? any positive thing can happen at any time T, infact im expecting MR now ;)
