What will you score if you have 10 years experience in 4 different NOCs but have more than 1 year experience in your primary NOC?

That is an intelligent question. Even If your 4 NOCs are listed on the 50 eligible occupations, you will get 9 points for your primary NOC because it meets the minimum one full continuous year required for eligibility. But if you have an NOC job title that has more than 6 years within the past 10 years you get 15 full points for experience. Be strategic. the 6+ years NOC could have been between 2005 to 2012. There is no rule that says it must be your current job. In my case I started my University Lecturing Career in Feb 2004 and I submitted only one reference letter. If for instance I stopped lecturing 3 years ago, I can still claim my 15 full points for work experience for eligibility in my primary NOC.

Yes you can at same cost with your bachelor degree. The equivalency could increase your points. I believe WES grades this as equvialent to a 4 year bachelor degree.

Hi, you can claim the maximum work experience points for any work that is at Skill level A, B or 0. All you have to do is provide a copy of your employment letter for such job and get a reference letter for it in CIC format. It does not have to be an eligible NOC, just ensure it falls under any of the acceptable skill levels. You qualify with an eligible NOC and you get more points with other NOCs at required Skill levels. Cheers.

HI, see above figures from CIC website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp) showing the applications for which PERs have been issued. The PERs are for the applications received in May and early June which CIO has treated, which means by the time they add the rest of June applications, July and August, the numbers will shoot up.
That being said, your best best is to get reference letters that reflect 1114 or 1212, these are safe for you. But act fast because others are already getting the same idea so it will be fastest finger first o. All the best

Hello all, noticed a debate on the general thread on sending transcripts along with our application to CIO. As unilag does not give students a copy of their transcript directly. I am hoping we have people here who have received PER by just sending a copy of their degree certificate. Thanks

I think WES does not grade certification from a Professional body,but I think your degree will do ....but check more on WES n CIC's website

I am an accountant and fellow accountants on this forum have reported that WES evaluated their ACCA qualifications accordingly. ACCA qualification can also be obtained from university if you select the ACCA stream together with a first degree like Oxford Brookes of UK for example.

@Missvenus, send in the ACCA certification with your degree. If it is not evaluated, you lose nothing. Cheers.

Hi, all I sent WES was a copy of my degree certificate. My transcript was prepared by my school (DELSU), sealed and sent direct to WES with the cover form I downloaded from WES website. That was it.
