My people,
A friend of mine is in dire straits. He called me worrying about when he will be charged, having submitted his app on the 20th of september. I told him to call his bank and check if there was any attempt to charge his card. He just called me back to tell me that there was 4 attempts on the 13th of december to charge his card and his bank (diamond) declined the transaction because it was over the POS limit of 200k. Please is there anything he can do? He is really pissed
Very sorry. If it was CIC that made that 4x attempts on the card and it was declined, your friend's application will very well be on a snail-speed mail back from CIO by now. I will advice your friend to quickly create a profile and submit for EE now.

That seems to always be generic response .
Call them again and try to compose yourself and don't give the agents an impression that you are calling regarding FSWP .
Try to let them know you're calling regarding a visa application you made some months back which you already have the UCI number received by email.Let them know your email box is giving you issues in accessing it and you don't have a record of your UCI number anywhere again and you seems to need to relate with your country's Canadian high commission for further processing.......tell them the UCI number starts with 912xxxxxxx but you can't possibly remember the rest digits.
The agent will ask you your personal details .....make sure you have them ready.
Remember not to mention FSWP in any conversation of yours with them.
Cheers
.
thanks for your suggestion

Hi, there's no adverse implication for this. What's the rush? :)

Congrats on getting your UCI. Please exercise some patience and give them some time to update ECAS to reflect your status. I experienced the same after getting UCI but after a short while i was able to successfully login to see my application status.
So just seat back relax and be happy that you will soon get the Official PER email.

Best wishes!

Hi, this simply means your details have not been entered into ecas system. Have patience, if your application is accepted, your details will be uploaded accordingly. :)

Jmoney. Advise your friend to inform the bank to authorize the cashment. CIC may want to try again later. They don't rush like that. Pray.

If your claim of your DD been encashed is true, you have no worries.Your details may yet to be uploaded on the ECAS server.
In that case, you will normally get such generic response .
Be calm and cool......your details will soon be uploaded on ECAS ........you may even get your PER email notification before it's uploaded......whichever fine comes first, you are cool.
The good news for you is not only the confirmation of your UCI number.....but your encashment news about your DD.
Wishing you the best.
Cheers

Oh, so sorry about that. But don't worry, there's a silver lining in every cloud. Just as I was able to move on from a returned application last year to application in process this year, so shall your case be.

We will be here, rooting for you all the way. God's not done with you yet :)
