I'm happy and glad to inform you all that I received my medical request yesterday evening at exactly 4:20pm Please see email below. I wish everyone on this forum expecting one form of update or the other from CIC or Accra success in your applications. Thanks guys: Pipis Husband, Kollins, Ksa05 and others for a wonderful job on this forum. I have updated my information on the spreadsheet.

- IMM 5406- Additional Family Information for you and your spouse.

- Updated IMM 5669- Schedule A for your spouse listing all personal and address history from the age of 18 with no time gaps. She has left a gap in her personal history from December 2007 to September 2009.

Only during submission stage...not at Accra level here.
If you have voluntary pension which is fully unencumbered,you can use it.
But RSA at this medical request level is not advisable.

Very correct, the Retirement Saving Account (RSA) is a dedicated account opened with a Pension Fund Administrator as specified under Sec 11 of the Pension Reform Act of 2004. It is statutory for everyone in paid employment as every employer employing more than 5 employees is mandated by law to open RSA for all her employees with a Pension Fund Administrator.

You can get your RSA statement from your PFA.

Hi, actually there are two ways to access the money;

When you turn 50 years old or when you are out of work for six months. While you are employed, no show

That's the 'pension' aspect of the fund.

The originals must always be your IELTS result and ECA report.Your police clearance certificate should also be original.
The other documents can be in photocopies unless ofcourse you feel it's not useful...e.g statement of account and/or reference letter .I'm sure you can't afford to submit the rest documents in original .
I'll prefer you include photocopies of your employment letter and payslips also to strengthen your reference letter.
Also,you do not need stamped envelopes......you need self addressed mail labels.This can simply be achieved by using a Microsoft word document on your laptop to write your full names and address on half of the page.Then duplicate it on the other half of the page after which it's printed out.Cut it into 2 nd insert into your package.
Since you are submitting biodata pages of both your old and new passport document,include a short cover letter to explain reason for such .
Your passport photographs are meant to be 6 for one person.......at the back of 5,write your full names,date of birth and date when picture was taken while you leave one blank.
Be wary of your birth certificate ......make sure it's authentic and accepted.
Make sure that you include the photocopies of the certificates/degree from your school that was used for your ECA report.
If possible ,let someone help you to check the correctness of your forms you intend to submit.....also,make sure u use the current form on CIC website.
Finally ,endeavor to use demand draft as your mode of processing charge .

Time is of great essence! So the earlier you send them the better not forgetting Kollin's advice of getting a second look at your forms for correctness.
I hope your NOC is very cold because countdaown has begun.

You can only access 25% of the RSA funds if you have been unemployed for 4 months following the loss of a job and not if you resigned.

But the new pension scheme says you can get the money after 4 months...

In addition to all the advice, ensure that your IELTS score is NOT BELOW minimum of what cic requires, for the current form in use, pls I beg of you put not applicable where you don't HV response eg date of entry to Canada if ever etc( I left some spaces blank in my form and trust me I cudnt sleep well upon realisation of the error, until I sent an addendum via email to CIC, you don't want to pass thru that emotional torture) best still like my fellow forumites advice. Get an eagle eyed preview from the experienced seniors.
