Whatsapp group for Our Big Sister Naija forum is a place to be but cannot take all of us so I decide is better we have a group for FSW 2014. It will make you feel closer and get information anywhere you are. Interested let me know it can only allow 50 users.

A noble idea, but please ensure that all phone numbers are sent by PM. Do not post your phone number on the open internet/forum, there are many unscrupulous elements out there. Let's stay safe, cheers.

Thanks and well noted Pipis but let me inform you that if people such as Ighehinadara and Tinuadebola are not open hearted enough a lot of us Nigerians on the forum that have gained so much from the relationship would not have. Nigerians need to start the culture of not being suspicious of everyone or else you miss the angels, lets learn to be each others keeper e.g the Indians and Filipinos are topping the Canadian Immigrant workforce cos of their openness with each other, though you must play safe and be cautious. I added my number cos we have newbies that doesn't have access to PM yet.
It will be good to have an identity and we can interact better that is why i start the whatsapp group and is not for today but to build a better relationship beyond CanadaVisa forum. I can boldly say today through my interaction with a lot of people here and physically i can land in at least any 5 Province with ease cos somebody is waiting for me at the airport and ready to take me in. Relationship is very key in life.

Hello Kayb, maybe I need to clarify. Openness is very much welcome in our efforts to be our brothers keeper as per FSW however, the need to be cautious can not be downplayed. In my little way, I have been open enough to the majority of Nigerians on this same thread. My previous posts across the forum speak for them self as my efforts go beyond helping only Nigerians. Since you have been gracious enough to provide your number, nobody else need do same for the purpose of the WhatsApp group. All they have to do now is send you their SMS stating their interest in the group. Keep up the good work as it is appreciated, all the best.

Well said KayB,a lot of us still hide our identity,I guess this is as a mistrust that has eaten deep into our society...on Filipinos and Indians been top beneficiary of PRV cos of their openness you r so apt on that...a friend of mine in SK had a similar experience when he approached a Pakistani for LMO and he was quite shocked when the dude said he only issue such to his fellow country men without any financial attachment,how many Nigerians will be willing to do that without getting something in return-though with the help so far from the forum I can still say a lot of Nigerians can still render assistance without asking for anything but unfortunately there r still so many SHARKS waiting to prey on newbies...but with all geniuneness we need to learn to start to network without boundaries,without suscipion...God bless us all
