Hi, a gift deed is not necessary from your own spouse. A simple, signed letter from your spouse saying that he freely transferred the funds to you to support the family's PR application is satisfactory. He can add his account statement showing how he obtained the funds from either salary, business, sale of an asset, shares, etc

Also if applying from the United Kingdom, does anyone have an idea where i will send my applications too? will it be directly to canada or the embassy here in UK? The application is online. You really need to go back and study the process so you are better informed. You submit your profile online while your application is most likely processed at the VO - Visa Office closest to your physical location if you are selected in the periodic draws and receive an ITA - invitation to apply. Sometimes though, your application may be sent off to another VO to process if there's a high workload at your expected VO.

Hello house! Am new here. Please I applied for work permit to Canada since march 5th and till date I ve not gotten a response from the embassy and the processing time says 13 weeks mean while this is the 29th week. What are my chances of getting an approval and how soon. Thanks in anticipation for you kind responses

Please is it compulsory to submit a bank statement for proof of funds since it doesn't clearly say so in the official website or am I getting it wrong?

Please someone should kindly clarify this for me because I am really confused.

Hi, it's hard to say as the timeline on the CIC website is just a guide and does not mean that things can get extended. People who applied for PR through this same FSW since 2014 are still waiting for completion of the processing of their applications. This is 2018 so they've been waiting close to 4 years for what we were told would take 10 months. Just have some patience and see how things play out.

Hi, for proof of funds, you can use either your bank account statement, a bank balance letter, fixed/time deposit certificate or treasury bills.
